Nik, double check on ur foglights…cause I found mine to have a stray beam up to the sky, but the actual beam of the fogs itself is aiming quite as itz supposed to.
Yo Max I messaged you on ICQ, but here it goes. Haruki gave me the 1pc yesterday and I’m ready to put it on. Let me know when you can do it and I’ll roll out
J-Spec -> To adjust your main headlights, the screw nearest to the corner lamp is vertical adjustability and the screw behind the main headlight housing adjusts horizontal movement. As for the fogs, I can’t help ya coz’ I’m haven’t adjusted mine yet:(

Oz
Thanks Oz…
I also used your teg tips to clear out the glare guards
dissapointed in how it didn’t help much in actual lighting output…it just “looked” brighter
Max, ya hafta double check…but i’m sure it needs to be lowered.
Jon, way to go… about to enter the 1piece family huh…?
anyone know what those 4 screws are for??? two beside the fogs…1 near the headlight…and 1 near the corner (JDM 1 pc)
thanks…
Nik, I was lookin at our lights…I don’t know if the fogs are adjustable w/o pulling the lights out to an extent…what I presume to be the alignment mechanism is impossible to get at w/o pulling the light out.

E-DA9,
JDM 1pc. fog light adjustability can be found at the side. When installed, it’s beside where the hood lock is. There are two adjustable screws there. I just don’t know which one controls vertical movement and horizontal movement. You’ll have to fiddle around about that.

Oz
I printed out that one post we started a long time ago but I can’t find it. I don’t have the pic of the back of the light anymore either. If I remember correctly there are 4 gears on the back. The one that aims the headlight up and down is the one w/ the “cone” above it. Almost impossible to access while the lights are on the car. At Least that’s what I remember.
I still don’t have mine aimed quite right:)

All screws for adjusting the lights are accessible. I recommend a long phillips screwdriver either a #1 or #2.

Where are the fog light adjustment screws, Oz?

E-DA9,
For one, I’d recommend looking at the screws with some light so you can see what you’re doing Anyway, refer to the pic below:
See, where my heat gun is pointing at? That circle thing that you see is the screw that adjusts the main light vertically (up and down). The screw in between my left index and middle finger adjusts the light horizontally (left and right). The two screws right in front of my crotch (not to be disgusting :p) are the screws for adjusting the fogs.
Now, when the headlight is installed, you’ll notice that there are holes on the frame of the car. If you look down on those holes, you’ll see the top portion of the screws which look like teeth. You then stick a #1 or #2 phillips screwdriver in that hole and turn.
For the fog lights, you don’t have to worry about looking down at holes coz’ it’s pretty much exposed. They’ll be located beside the hood lock assembly on either side.
Hope this helps,
Oz
EDIT: Had to fix the pic link. Email me if the pic doesn’t work.
wow, that’s great info!! Major thanks The_Oz!!!
how do you aim it so that it would not blind other driver?

A mechanic gave me this simple tip, which is not a “be all, end all” answer. To aim the lights:
You can do the same for the fogs, so that you can achieve a high beam affect. But it is recommended that you aim the fogs lower than the main light so that your vision is not impaired while driving through fog, snow, and/or rain.
Hope this helps,
Oz
i’m having trouble aiming my one piecers
So, to aim them, do you just stick a flathead screwdriver in the little teeth deals and keep on turning it a few degrees at a time?
i just tried that and must have spun that round part with the teeth on it 10-15 times. was parked about 20 feet away from the garage door(white) at night time, and i couldn’t see my lights moving at all. about half way through i had a friend put his finger in a spot where the light was hitting, and turned about 7 more rotations. i didn’t see the light move AT ALL! I did it for both sides. Is it a REALLY fine adjustment knob, or could both mine be broken, (or maybe they’re adjusted all the way?)? Any input guys? My lights are aiming really low. Thanks
Brian
hey mine does the same thing couldn’t get it to move left or right
Oz, u da man!
