Hey guy,
Like ome of you know i am doing an LsVtec turbo setup this winter.
Head is a GSR 98.
I know for high compression engine ajustable cam gear can be usefull, but what about turbo engine with the GSR vtec cam ? Is this worth it… knowit coul cause solve some overlap issue but i think gsr is the weakest profile of the vtec kind ?
adjustable cam gears are not worth buying with stock cams. beware as they do slip and can also cause damage to the cam key way
no, your wrong. B16 Auto cam is the lowest profile. GSR cams are a step ahead of all B16 cams.
you must remember that all engines are different. some may benefit from an adjustable cam gear, some may not. buy them and install them for your dyno tune, thats the only guaranteed way to know if your going to make power.
