And its done.

Someone hinted at me getting this turbonetics rebuilt before i ran it. Althought there was no shaft play, and it ran smooth, it was just dirty, after i cleaned it, it seemed alright. Guess not.

I got about 200 miles on it, and it looks like a fin caught the housing and just shredded.

Few questions

  1. Is there some sort of secret to get the shaft out? i put the thing in a vice to hold the hot side and i used a ratchet on the compressor side, i cent get the thing to move.

  2. How much do normal places charge to balance shafts? Ive got this other turbo, but its got a t4 exh side so i cant just swap exh sides on these 2.

WOW!!! thats the best way for hardheaded people to learn. lol

sorry it had to happen to ya bra. Next time you will probably listen

BLAAST is top notch…Look em up.

blasst gets + from me

i talked to the guys at the g-pop shop. www.gpopshop.com , and they seem to really know what they are doing. They took the time to explain a lot of things to me on the phone. They also have great pricing!

Yea, i heard about blaast. i sent my turbo to them today. Killer prices.

looks more like you sucked something up, not that the fins hit the housing…

did you run a filter on it?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

do it right or do it twice
