Awesome build so far man! Def post pics of the rear toe kit install if you can. Are you finding that you need things like the toe kit, camber kits, etc for how low you are? Just curious as I’m wanting to lower to about your height (maybe even a little higher) but I’m wondering what other supplementary parts I’m going to need to not eat tires Keep posting stuff, I’m digging it!
no my alignment is actually already in specs… the toe is just to replace the old worn out stuff with new stuff…
Looks like things are going pretty well again, Brian. Couple things aren’t my style, but that’s the beauty of personalization. It is what YOU want it to be. Keep up the great work.!!
well got a partial order in from JHP today, my moroso oil pan, and hard race toe kit, just waiting on the trailing arm bushings. so today i installed the my honda habit kit with studs, the moroso pan with a spoon drain plug and fresh oil once again. all this to find out, the front seal is what is leaking… such a waste of time and money, oh well it looks good lol
Did you at least get any extra oil capacity and/or baffling with the Moroso pan? It looks really good at the least.
yea the moroso pans are baffled. thats 80% of the reason i bought it…
today i had changed the cam seals, the crankshaft seal, the timing belt, the water pump, and did a valve lash… its a brand new car!
since it was already coming apart also installed new crank pulley bolt, new timing belt pulley, and new timing belt guides as well…
awesome build!! its nice to see im not the only one blowing away money on a integra DA haha! great car man! im actually in the process of doing something similar now check out my build thread
well today i put on a bunch of more oem parts and now she is leak free!!
new cam shaft seals, new crank shaft seal, new water pump, new timing belt, new timing belt pulley and guides, new crank pulley bolt and installed the hasport 70a drivers side mount
also gave her her first bath since i owned it…
thanks, sadly im still waiting on my center caps. 9 weeks now i have been waiting
glad you figured it out, what was the problem?
btw keep it up beautiful car man…
stupidest shit ever, my throttle stop screw was missing lol
pulled off the ek skirts and put the oem mud flaps back on… shes been running great!! still daily driving her… just really need to get some new rotors and pads on it these old worn out ones suck ass…
decided to move the ground from the spoon wires underneath the cover, does look a bit cleaner outside, but messier when i pull the cover off lol
finally took my camera on a cruise lately and wanted to share a few more pics… no new updates on the car yet tho…
Great build man. Making me wanna redo my DB1. I recently bought a 2008 Civic SI and almost sold her. You guys are rekindling the fire to start it over again. Car looks great!
do it! man i sure do miss my db1…
well found my power steering pump is leaking now… so gonna have to reseal it soon or just replace it, but got some more good pics yesterday/… sorry for the shitty phone quality, but i lost my sd card for my camera lol
Just do the reseal bro. I did mine last year, and those old ones are super easy. You should still be able to get all the seals.
only things i was able to find in stock was 2 seals, and 2 o rings… how much did you replace on yours?
