So its been 8 months I’ve been away… With the loss of my brother, I fell out a bit. Slowly comin back though.
Now, onto the whip…
Got the 91 LS with a 98 LS motor. Shes runnin kinda sloppy still. Boggin 1st-3rd gear 2-3500k rpm. Did plugs n wires, next up is cap and rotor, then fuel pump and filter. As long as I can get it running normal before the snow hits.
What i got comin in the next week or 2:
new fender
JDM onepiece headlights
BMW bottlecaps, sandblasted n painted white
Also, future plans (winter purchases) include:
building a g23 swap for it
suspension, probs just springs for now
gotta do brakes, front n rear
rust repair
And yea, the rust will be fixed when I get a new windshield. Its bad around the top of the windshield, so that will have to be done when I replace it. So why not do the rest while I’m at it.
For a car that sat for 2 years, in Wisconsin, the rust surprisingly isn’t bad.
Lower corner of the wheel wells, little at the bottom of a door, top of the windshield is the worst. And the pass fender has a hole n is rusty, but Im pickin up a new one this weekend.
So for a car with 245k on the clock, sat for 2yrs in Wisconsin, its still in really good shape
So I was raining ALL day yestrday, and when I got in my car after work… the ENTIRE carpet was soaked! Any idea where/what caused it to be that wet??
I did notice, for the passenger auto seatbelt, there were water drips from the lowest point (where it slides forward toward the windshield) is it maybe from the sunroof? Bad seals/weatherstripping?
It could be drip in from above the blower (cowling this always happens) or check the drin tubes for the sun roof as that were you say it is dripping from
well… apparently my order never processed for the corner lights n such… maybe it was my laptop, maybe it was them. but nothing came outta my account.
SO…
i picked up the JDM one pieces this morning
edit
just ordered some bulbs and the conversion harness from passwordjdm
So its been a few months, maybe lol, been busy. Me n my girl bought a house, so I’ve been busy with that. Haven’t touched the DA :argh:
But now’s the time, got the house settled so now its play time.
Tonight I’m picking up a gsr intake mani cut n rewelded to fit an ls.
And if they’re still available by Tuesday, I wanna grab these Black Racing BR4’s
sorry for your loss, the best thing to do is what you did and talk about it, and stay busy with what you like. your G2 is a great way to stay busy as you know…good luck with the build and we are here for ya
I just can’t wait for warmer weather! Me n my buddy are gonna take care of the rust, with the exception of the windshield edges. That’ll have to be done by a shop.
