Anyone here uses BRE??

just wondering. Ive been doing tons of research what I need and gathering DIY tuning tips. Ill be buying the Moates Epromer in a Month or so. Ant a buddy of mine is letting me use his AEM wideband.

I don’t know of a lot of people using BRE. My best friend was chipped for BRE and was planning on tuning with it, but it just seemed to complicated. He just ended up using Emanage. I plan on using BRE this winter. BTW there is a place called Turbo Tune in Charlotte that tunes BRE, and I hear that the guy is really good. Ask CRXT on HMT about it. He is the only person I know of off the top of my head that has been tuned with it. Joseph Davis tuned his car.

Chris

turbo tune in Charlotte???hmmm ive heard of them. I may try them out. so you said check out home made turbo.com???

Actually…is CRXT the guy from sc that made 299whp with the sc61?? If so then I already talk to him. he doesnt run that setup anymore.

My buddy and I both run BRE. Love it. I’ve got a PWO and he’s got PR3. We can tune just about any parameter we would need on our setups (he’s NA B20vtec, and I will be boosting my lsvtec). Anytime we have a problem, Ben helps us solve it immediately. And it’s free. What more could you ask for? We used the ECU’s we already had w/ our b16’s (well, we just have the b16 heads now), whereas turboedit, you have to use a specific ecu I think. I used to use a simple Willam E-prom burner ($50 ebay), but I just ordered a moates ostrich rommulator. I have no intentions of upgrading my engine management, but I guess we’ll see what happens when I add boost to the equation.

I used BRE on my buddies LS/VTEC setup. I previously used BRE. It’s a great DIY program that is constantly developing. auto tune is sweet

yeah Ive been on the forum asking a bunch of questions and he seems to be on top of everything. I jsut cant wait to see what it does. I want to eventually make over 300whp using BRE.

I’m running BRE on my PW0 B16 right now. I’m in the process of boosting it right now, so I’ll get a chance to play with the boost code also. VERY nice work Ben.
