Anyone running the HKS SSQV bov?

Got my turbo going and curious if anyone has the SSQV bov, im getting more of a fluttering sound when I rev and shift but not from the compressor (turbo)

I read some other people having this issue with other cars as well whether its 6 psi or 15 psi, I hear you shouldnt run the bov Tee’d off with any other lines ( have 2 lines teeing off my BoV ) and also shouldnt use any of the two vac sources on the TB which Iam using, going to try one off the manifold tommorow.

Just curious if anyone else has a suggestion for me, thanks.

Its best to have a line shooting straight to your manifold for your bov. The ssqv’s all seem to flutter a little. Its not compressor surge.

mine does not flutter that much. i have it on its own vacuum source though.

I was just concerned because reading about this particular bov it seems they have a high pitch chirpy release and mine hasnt done that at all.

every SSQV ive heard flutters on low boost(under 8psi or so)

is yours legit or a knockoff?

Its legit I wouldnt run any knockoff brands :expressionless:

Bought a Vibrant vaccume block and redid all the vac lines, reloacted the BOV vac line from front of the TB to back of intake manifold on the Block and BOV chirps like its supposed to :stuck_out_tongue:
