anyone using an inline pro manifold?

Anyone running an inline pro manifold in there turbo DA? Pictures of your setup? comments?

nobody huh…

There turbo manifolds seem to be hard to get your hands on for a B-series motor. A buddy of mine is running an Inline manifold on his car and he has about 700whp (Civic w/ LS/VTEC), im unsure of the specifics of his turbo setup but I can find out. His engine was also built and tuned by InlinePRO. I’ve had some work done in the past and they’re good peoples. Hope this helps, ill get him to send me some pics to post.

thats cool, i was mainly looking to get some ideas about fitment in the DA chassis.

ohhhhh, gotcha. Good luck with that, sorry I couldnt be more help, lol.

I’m not sure how many different types of manifolds they make, but the one that comes to my mind is their cast iron manifold. Is that the one you are talking about?

heres the one i just bought:

SS ftw

Yep. that’s the one i was thinking of. I don’t have one but I do have a blox which is similar in shape and they both place the turbo at an angle. The webbing on the block will have to be notched in most cases to accomodate the turbo, but other than that there aren’t any real fitment issues with it.

No wait I take that back, there is one more thing to watch out for but that depends on the style of wastegate you use. If it’s a tial you might have to buy an elbow because there have been issues with them not clearing the head. I had to get one myself because of this but it’s not a big deal.

Sorry. double

not clearing the head? i am lookin at this thing… and i can’t visualize what you mean…

In the pic you posted, notice the port on top for the external wastegate. If the wastegate was bolted directly to it, it will sit next to where the head and the valve cover meet.

Some wastegates due to their shape will make contact with the area where the head and valve cover meet and won’t be able to be bolted up without some kind of modification. I’ve heard of people shaving a little off the wastegate or off the valve cover/head area, but most people just use an elbow like the one here. Spoolinperformance sells those if you’re going that route.

inline pro is great.

I have been running the Inline PRO SS T3 for 4 years in my DA. Full length rad, power steering all fit easy

I highly recommend the IP
