The one on the black DA is a Thule 409 and is made specifically for 90-93 and 94+ Integras.

The rack I have has the Y9 clips (clips onto the car) and is mounted inside the older SST towers (the bulky feet that the bars sit on). The fairing if I remember is a 38" size. You can go a little longer if you like (40" or 42")… just get a measuring tap and run it along the windshield to see how wide you want it…

My friend has a Thule one and I have a Yakima and by looking at how it’s designed, the Yakima seems more sturdier. If you want looks, then go with the Thule… they got nice colors and the design looks more “modern-ish” but some of the stuff they come out with looks sorta cheap.
Most of the Yakima’s bike carrier lines looks to be very well made and made for it’s intended purpose…
A Thule rack is plenty sturdy. I can grab the load bar on mine and rock the entire car back and forth and it won’t budge. I don’t think there’d be much difference in total allowable load between the two (Thule vs. Yakima) since both will have the maximum bar spread limited by the short roof.
What I like about the Thule is that it doesn’t interfere with the window seals. But it’s really just a matter of preference. Most accessories offered by both companies are compatible between them. Thule uses a rectangular load bar while Yakima uses round ones.

yea ive seen a few other discussion about the quality and they say yakima is better quality…i gues i’ll have to decide on price and availability…thanx guys…

My Thule 409 came with clips and foot pads for both the 90-93 and 94-01 Integra. So the fit kit came with it. It’s an Integra-specific rack and isn’t meant to fit anything else, unlike the Thule 400 which is a universal rack.
I was able to order parts for mine (lockable covers, to be specific) through a Thule dealer, but they were backordered and took a long time to come in.
