sorry to thread jack but what color is the blue DA?
Check the link I posted. If they’re the brackets that came with the 409, then you need to use the ones marked with a number 7.
my rack is a thulr but the fit kit looks nothing like that my fit clips have a body that you can tighten down. they basically look like spatulas with the handles cut off! not small clips as those pictured.
here you go fellas. i was browsing around and stumbled on to this.
this is probably the cheapest ive seen brand new. free shipping. better jump on this

oh yeah here is my db1 w/ the old school thule rack
That sounds like a 400-series universal rack, not a 409. Completely different animal. I don’t believe the 409 brackets and foot pads would interchange. As far as I know the only Thule application designed to fit the Integra is the 409, but I believe I have seen photos of a universal rack mounted to a DA on here before…
Are the Thule 409 kits being sold now still coming with foot pads for the 90-93 Tegs? My local outdoor gear shop (Eastern Mountain Sports) only mentions the 94+ in the description.
sorry to threadjack but i ordered my 409 last week and itll be here tomorrow!!!
Let me know if it comes with the bracket/footpad for the 90-93. Where’d you get it and how much was it?
hey guys, i got a yakima roof rack for really cheap at a garage sale, and i was wondering if anyone knows what clips i could use to install the rack on my db1?
i noticed that most of you guys are running the thule roof rack…and i noticed that their 409 series clips also work on a 94-00 integra sedan… so i was wondering if the yakima Q11 clip (yakima clip for 94-00 integra sedans) would work on my 90-93 integra sedan.
Thanks in advance, if anybody knows
ya it came with the bracket foot pads and locking covers, basically everything showed in rexs link but it was used one for 125 from a guy on ebay. he sells a bunch and probly has more.
actually the locking feet were an extra 38 and each non lockable bike tray was 50. i ended up spending about 275 for the full setup like rexs except no fairing. those he charges right around 50.
hie email is fnaamdaar@yahoo.com and if you email him he’ll send you a paypal invoice when your ready. the only thing i didnt like was they came shipped in corona twelve pack boxes, no joke.
speaking of which, rex do you know wat size your fairing is and approximately how thick it is? i can get plexiglass from work and was thinking about tracing one and just cutting it out myself, 5o is alot for something i can make for free, ya know?
I just ordered a new 409 kit+516 prologue bike tray+extra lock core for the bike tray from RackAttack.com and it came to $282 w/ free shipping and then Microsoft Bing Cashback is 25% at RackAttack.com. So All that comes to about $212 bucks.
The rack itself is $183.95 minus the 25% comes to $138 NEW.
Now I’m just crossing my fingers hoping it comes with the right brackets and footpads.
damn i should shopped around more and been patient
all my shit was used and came about the same price, i just got two trays

Yeah dude… you spent a lot for your setup. Bike racks and trays can be had for about $150 used on Craiglist. Then you just buy the clips that fit our cars. They’re not that expensive.
ya, im just too much like a 5 year old when i get extra money, i got a list of wat i want and i have no patience once the moneys in my hand
For those with a Thule 409, is there a trick to get the bracket to slip between the body and rubber trim or is it okay to just slip in betwteen the body and the black moulding?
I don’t have the Thule but instead I have the Yakima. Mine is hooked onto the rubber window seal moulding. The window will kinda tap the mount when it’s fully up when you close the door.
Noise issue is not really a problem… it’s still sealed tight if you’re wondering. Just make sure you don’t slam the door HARD with the window fully rolled up… it might crack if it makes hard contact with the metal mounting leg.
I had a Sportrack that was replaced by the Thule. The clips hold on to the black trim piece just like the Yakima does. Here’s the Sportrack:
On the Thule, the clip is supposed to go in like this :
I don’t see how you can squeeze the leg into the hard black trim… it’s tight as a mofo… I’ve tried doing that when I first got my Yakima. I figured that’s what you’re supposed to do but after 30 minutes of cussing and prying and afraid it might break… I opted to mount it on the soft window rubber thing instead.
Maybe I should try again since you got yours in there. :read:
