The Sportrack clip slips between the black trim and gasket. Helps if the door is open too so the gasket has a bit of give in it. Works, but I prefer that the rack is holding onto the actual body rather than the black trim. The black trim is only held in with plastic clips. That’s the main reason I switched to Thule when I had a chance.

I should mention…

If any of you bought a used 409 rack only to find that the brackets that came with it are for a 94+ Integra, you can order new brackets for 90-93 Integras through a Thule dealer.

Part number is 853-1921-07 and you’ll need to order 4 of them.
