are vaccum hoses missing to MAP sensor... PICS HELP!!

Map sensor and canister purge Both missing lines on upper part… any ideas if its supposed to be like this heres a pic got it like this??? i dont know help me out im gunna be running a fmu soon :frowning: selling hondata… where do i stick the missing link???

On my car ‘90 LS’ the “blue” hose on the pic, goes to the fpr. The red hose goes down to the “canister” down on the passeger side of the engine. HOpe that helps…

why dont mine have hoses?? and are they broke in the picture…?? i just have my FPR run of a vac line from the manifold… thanks for the diagram

should i just plug those off???
cause they doo suck in air while the car is running, its a controlled vaccum leak kinda

Wassup,
I’m not sure… Does your car run fine without those lines that are missing? Looks like you have a b18b/engine and turbo? Or am I seeing things? lol. I’m not sure how your car is set up too be with the FPR line and vac. hoses and all that. So hopefully someone comes along… And shines a lil’light on this thread. :salute:

turbo b20 almost ur reading into the valve cover too much hahahh nice eyes

if they really bother u just cap them and see if the idle changes, mine go to the fpr and the can on the pass side of the car. as long as the fpr has vac. on it then u can cap the one for sure… hope this helps

I have both of them off on my car. The whole canister thing. I believe its there for emission purposes. It takes the bypass from the fuel and recirculates. So the vapors and such don’t go into the atmosphere. I’ve also heard from some people that it could cause you to lean out some. I don’t know how valid that statement was though.

well the canister purge is hopoked up to the vent on top of the gas tank and all the fumes are collected in the charcoal cannister, but the fuel purge cutoff solenoid deally to the fpr kinda baffels me… o well it runs fine and with the vac source I have i tunder the aem regulator just fine…
