To commemorate the DAs 20 year anniversary, I thought I would post up some videos and an old article, for those of you who haven't seen them and might be interested. Thanks to Daniel for making the vids
oops! Well not so bad, cause I`m french Canadian (Canadien Francais) anyways…thanks for the check!
The car is somewhere on the west coast, not exactly sure where though. I plan on racing when I get back from Japan, although it will probably be around the Vancouver area.
I`ve been getting anxious to track again lately!
Still got a couple things I want to get done to the car before hitting the cirsuit though.
Your car is an inspiration man. Ive read/seen most of your stuff and I love the way you built up your car. It also made me a bit happier knowing there is still some development for the DA (such as the ASR sway bar kit). Ive done 4 track days this last summer and plan to do a lot more this summer and hopefully end up doing NASA time attack. Still got a LOT to learn though.
I appreciate the compliment whoami. Im glad your tracking your DA. Its always nice to hear about the few who are. Of all my years going to the track (13), Ive counted maybe around 10 DAs, and thats over 3 countries...Only saw one in Japan. Needless to say, its not a popular track car.
I was mostly kidding. I don’t know how they spell Candadian in Canada, all I know is that the Montreal Canadiens are spelled differently. I vacation to Kelowna BC every year and it’s fun to see the small differences in US English and Canadian English.

yo, your DA is stupid nice. and your driving skills arent too bad either. congrats on a beautiful DA man. and is that i shift light in your dash. if so its sick
Good stuff…if you ever come back to quebec youll find a new DA9 road racing. We also have a new circuit (icar) its set up on the runways of the old mirabel airport.
hi patrick, i just bought one recently and building it (mild one) for Sepang International Circuit (Malaysia) weekend track day. It is street legal b16a (jdm) and i did copied some of your ideas like for example the spacer for the rear shock. i did 2:47 during race day with a fully track car Proton Satria GTi (aka Mitsubishi Mirage 4G93) and my target for my DA6 is 2:50. you are welcome to visit my facebook (kl_akdreams@yahoo.com) and i hope you can help me when i need advice. thanks in advance.
Heres an old one I had'nt seen till recently. Id love to go back up to Quebec, and track at Mont Tremblant. The car is set up for more high speed tracks, and I prefer elevation changes.
Hi kl_akdreams, glad to hear your tracking a DA at Sepang. I`ve actualy been up there, when I was visting Kuala Lumpur in 2003. Let me know how the buildup goes.
Great car and great driving as usual. This is a true race set up and the car is so clean. How did you do that ram air set up? And what lip and wing is that?
