aussie da9 teg turbo

idk if ud want a vaccum line sitting in the intake filter for a turbo lol. might want to make a little adjustment there

if you read back a little he already said he was. matter fact he is changing the entire blow off valve.

ebay bovs… i know understand y they no good… its been relocated and it sorta fits but i got probs with the rad being to small or something…

i got a pwr 50mm alloy one on the way and that hopefully will help the guys rekon we can make another one and put it in the bumper and give me more capacity

i was driving around in a 96 degree F day and the temps where 206F on the bottom hose… it would sit anywhere from half tto 3/4 full on the stock temp gauge… little hot and this is without a/c and heater on full noise…

do u guys experience these ambient temps???

i had my car dynoed yesterday and i got 143hp at 4000rpm on 4 psi

they refused to rev any harder because the car was leaning out…

the afrs were lean though but i will post up pic of chart later

Can you tell me more about how you did your AC. i noticed you said you used a Fit condenser… did you have to custom the ac lines? and how much do custom lines run you? i really want to turbo my DB1 but i really want to keep AC and PS

i used a custom condensor cut the fittings in half and got new ferals for the condensor and lined them up and rewelded them

its pretty simple and straightforward

how much power do you plan to make? I know you made 143hp at 4psi…but I assume at 8 PSI you could make around 250…

yeh i think at 4000rpm u would make atleast 200 at full noise…

but i dont know at 8psi i would say 200 easy

im happy with anythin more then 100 to be honest i did this for fun like most guys

but i love this car

I think you should fix your leaning problem and shoot for more whp. You could easily hit 143 all motor.

i already got 143WHP how will tuning it only make that at the motor…

I was saying if you were to go all motor you would have a good chance of hitting the same whp level. 143 whp for boost is really low. I would push to at leassstttt 250. under 200 whp you might as well stay N/A.

like i said it was at 4000rpm doesnt that tell u something…

if u read back it was leaning out thats y they refused to push it hard. thats y i only made such low hp i rekon if u only reved any turbo b18a to 4000rpm only u would have similar problems

then fix the problems you had on the dyno mang. 143 whp for a turbo build is kinda

Dude, it is not tuned yet!
143 is at 4000rpm and 4PSI!
Extrapolate that out and he should get around 200-220.
although if it was leaning out it probably means that he was making a bit more power than he should have been. A richer tune would be a bit less power.
Keep in mind that Dynos in Australia run lower numbers generally than in the US. I think that it has something to do with the correction method used.

250whp in the US equates to about 220 in Australia.

At 4000rpm on the dyno my car is making about 148whp

how much did u pull mooshie?

it was a power run not a tuning session thats y the problem wasnt sorted

get it tuned!!! lets see what it can make.

im in process of resprayin my eg atm so once thats done ill get it tuned…

bit of an update.

pulled it down for bc valve springs, and stage 2 cams. also getting rid of all the cooling lines except heater and obviously rad. that way less things to go wrong. im going to get a port done aswel if i get time, ive now got crome working properly (because of a dodgy datalogger).

also got a apexi power meter to put on it for “jdm factor”
