ya that is a good location for our meets. i like having a place to sit…man for you guys with the 5spd’s the exedy stage 1 racing clutch, this is the most bad ass clutch i have ever used. well its my first clutch but i ment out of all of the standard cars i have drove… ive got a nice chirp in 3rd and slamming into 4th there is no slip at all…

i installed my taurus cupholder today and it’s pretty cool. definitely not flawless though for anybody who’s looking into this. first off, i just don’t taking apart the center console and there’s lots of sharp metal behind the stereo din. second, having the cd player tools (the two metal bars that help slide the cd player out of the din) would have been a huge help.
so you have to cut off four triangular extensions out of the back of the cupholder and coin trays, and if you don’t cut them completely fush, it makes it all the more difficult to pop the trays back in the closed position. I didn’t have an awesome tool like a dremel to cut them, so I used a regular old pocket knife and hacked away. not efficient and definitely not safe.
so then it’s a matter of taking apart the center console. having the metal bars to take out the cd player will make things incredibly easy because then it’s just a matter of taking out the dash kit that you won’t be needing anymore. the cd player will end up sitting pretty tight on top of the cupholder.
clearance is decent. for my automatic, the trays don’t come completely out when in park, but enough to hold drinks and get coins. for you standard guys, i don’t know how close it’d be shifting into an open drink tray.
all in all i’m pleased
i was thinking about getting one of those big gulp holders that you stick inbetween your window and door…

There is a car meet every monday night down south. I went last night and saw NO G2 integras but a lot of G3. I asked around and they said they don’t know of any and none ever show up. I want us to get together one Monday night and drive down there together and represent the 2nd Integras.
Please let me know who can go. I want to pick one monday where we can get atleast 6 of us to go. I know thats a lot but we need a lot. The show is at about 10 pm so I thought we could meet some where at 9:30 and arrive together…Let me know!!!

buffaloe, thanks again for swinging by the shop today and giving us a helping hand, as you saw we really needed you… and also thanks for the sanding work… and you know we were talking about short shifters and i said go with b&m well i just ordered a megan short shifter…incase your interested in saving a few bucks… the shifter plus shipping came out to 44.99 wich is what the b&m cost with out shipping…
