I think you need to do some more reading and reseach. You’re trying to shim the wrong mount. The wiring questions have been answered - especially in this thread.

Hypa-R… dude the mount you shim si on the passegner side… the mount plate that mounts to hte tranny unbolt it 3 bolts… shim it about 1.25". put the plate back on and rebolt the mount to the plate…

i can see them. make a image station name my guess. have it cookied on your puter. i can also see them at work were cookies = not saved. btw im using a p28, chipped and hondata S200. HOPING i can work somthing out with PUSH button start so that i can not do the wiring i think i have the figured out. give me a day or 2 to test it but looks like i have its figured. i have to change my stearing colum out because, my wrech striped the hub, with my momo stearing will hub =(. hub is fine colum = fucked no teeth left.

i’m currently in the process of getting my transmission and engine out but im having a hard time with the big ole auto tranny. I have it almost out but the shaft inside is just holding it on enough. I have my hoist hooked to it now with a jack supporting my engine. XDeep i saw you got your tranny out first then engine how did you get it? And another question, is the black thick wire comign out of the center of the firewall to the tranny the speedometer cable. I am not able to get that off now either. Thanks
y would i have to take the engine out also? im confussed now. cant i just take the tranny out. i have the tranny out. and dash apart im half way through atm just need to drill hole and mont pedals and that all goes back together. just waiting on my hondata to get here and my PLX.
i never took out the engine, but i did remove all the mounts i think. just takes some pushing and shoving here and there. did you forget to remove the torque converter bolts? i did at first…
ya thats the speedometer cable that goes from the gauge cluster to the tranny. in order to remove it you need to lift the boot up and pop out that clip (be very careful with it, bend it tight again to install). are you not using a helms manual to do this swap?
want a good laugh? well i had to cut the boots off the driver side cv joint to get tranny it ( it was raining it was only thing holding motor i couldnt get it out of the half shaft, hurricane winds pising me off.) can i use my cv joint from my auto tranny? or will it not work. lol belive my im beating my head now. it was BRAND new cv joint.
and from what ur saying on you past on a couple pages back, i dont have to take whole dash out JUST drop stearing wheel and take pedals out?

I did a writeup on the pedal swap. I even posted pictures.

so far 5 hours in and new pedals are in. clutch cable hole and cable through it. stearing wheel back bolted up (didnt take the dash out worked around it). old tranny out and new street lite flywheel on. clutch disc and pressure plate on. with tool in center started on the wiring but… yea i got were the key will come out =) cant figure cranking part out till tranny in tommorow. tired and hungry. o yea and old shifter out. that was hardest and longer part to me. had to drop the exhuast and the sheild and then unbolt the stupid thing :mad: but its out. i took hammer to it also =) pics tommorow of that to =P. anyways later.
Get pictures of your wiring so you are able to remoce the key… please.
Get a Helms and you’ll be able to figure it out too

okay, I got all the wiring down for the shifter and what not, but I am a little confused on the wiring for the peddle assembly. I want my cruis to work, can you guys help me out. Can’t wait to get my 89 s1 tranny in! :shift:
Okay, I got it now. So I put the pink wire to the cruise control, and the ‘can’t start the damn car without the clutch pushed in wire’ tothe chassie? Please correct me if this is incorrect.
There are two thick blk/white wires at the 12p connecter in the center console. Those wires get extended to the clutch switch.
