no problem. if you cant find em online. youre going to have to go to the dealer.
also, i was talking to this guy selling the front hawk hps pads. he wanted $110 (but that doesn’t matter) for the front. he told me it took 2 pads for each side. for a total of 4 pads to replace the front. so, a pair of pads will only do one side? so i need two pairs to replace both front wheels?? i emailed the retailer and haven’t gotten a reply yet.
is the axxix ultimate(front) and metal master (rear) a good combo?
the place im looking at says theyre out of rear ultimates and suggested the MM. should i get the rear ultimates somewhere else??
thanx

Read GRM February issue for a decent article on brake bias. [/B]
ill be fine with ultimates front, and MM rear?? if so ill be picking up these, w/ brembo blanks tommorrow from Import replacement parts. if not, ultimate rears from somewhere else.
I figure the AEM pad and the MM pad compound are pretty pretty close. You’ll be fine with Ultimate/MMs. I suggested the article just to tell you that the front brakes will be doing more of the braking and overagressive pads in the rear can lock up the rear wheels too early. I don’t think Ultimates are overaggressive by any means, but you can save some money by using a cheaper pad where it won’t really affect braking.

Let me get this straight…FAMILYG2…those pads you like and were selling before…they were Honda PACKAGED with a HONDA part number but manufactured by Nissin, right? [/B]
F. Pads for the cars are 45022-SK7-525 - rears are 43022-SR3-030
O and btw, after just replacing some new Brembo Dilled rotors, i’ve noticed my OE pads are about 50% worn down after abooot a year and a half. I am pleased with their wear and even had a new set ready, but didn’t need them.
Daily driving/occasional hard stops, but no autox as of yet.
