got a b16a1 stock how much boost is max. if i was running a t3/t4 and got it tuned with a hondata? got a b16a2 with eagle rods, je pistons and rings. how much is max boost with this motor, also tuned with a hondata.

you ahve to give a little more info on the b16A2. what kinda CR will the pistons yield. Are they pistons for N/A pwoer or Boost.

it depends who you have tuning it. if you have a real pro that knows what he is doing tuning the hondata on the 1st gen b16. you could run high psi like 12 or so and be safe while if you have soemone like me tuning for you, you’ll be lucky to survive at 4psi

I have a b16 that is 81.5mm with a block guard. Ive been told stock sleeves will hold up to about 14psi. Im running 9:1 CP pistons and I hope to run about 13-15psi…So I hope

wow 14psi on stock. isnt that a bit much? i heard 10 was the most on the stock with really good tuning. well if i can run 10-14 psi on stock then imma sell my b16a2 for more money.

Thats just the amount Ive been told is safe. If you search around on honda-tech there are some people running 20psi on stock sleeves. There is a local with a gsr and stock sleeves and he has like 21psi at the track and 18psi daily driven…
