B17 Tranny with LS turbo

Hey everyone, Im considering going LS Turbo on my Integra. I jsut wanted to findout a couple of things. I was pretty sure this would be ok, but wanted to findout what i would need to change, or do differently in this situation. I have a B17 GSR and i was wanting to drop in the LS motor and use to B17 tranny with it. Unless someone thinks the LS should use the LS tranny as well. But anyway, if i use the B17 tranny what would need to be done? it will bolt right up to the LS (im pretty sure) but would anything need to be different, clutch, flywheel, things in that area? Thanks again.

Just curious cuz i found a complete LS for 3 bills and i wanna go turbo, so im gonna turbo the LS engine inside my GSR. Thanks guys, lates.

Nope, you can still re-use your existin clutch setup no problem

It just wasnt what i was expecting, cant figure out what went wrong with the build so im leaning towards going LS/Turbo. Plus i can get the LS motor for cheap. I ran against a newer LS with the stock B18B and a CAI, and he was almost dead even with me. I was hoping with the build i would be pulling GSR’s, i was wrong and i cant figure out what went wrong. Rings didnt seat, i dunno. Timing was checked, everything is fine, and now i just foundout that the headgasket needs to be replaced, so kinda confused how that happened. Coolant was fine, no overheating, just a bad gasket all of a sudden. O well life sucks.

Oh so you built the B17A1 a bit but your disapointed with the turnout and overall reliable thus far?

yeah, im not happy with the build. I know the car should be quicker with everything it has, but instead of spending more money on the build i wanna just go with a stock B18B and run low boost on it.
