b18 turbo vaccum lines for wastegate, bov and boost gauge

Where is the best place to hook the t’s up for the wastegate, bov and boost gauge. I have them hooked above the throttle body, not with the idle line but the other one. Someone said it should be where the fuel pressure regulator vaccum is, anyone have any ideas?

i hooked it off the FPR, and that split off into boost, bov, wg. Plug the one on the compressor side of the turbo.

runs great and i read about 17 hg

The wastegates i seen have two ports for vac which one woulg he use the top one or the bottom one??

just test em out, u will be able to tell the correct way by the idle, and if ur wg works, i’ve only seen External WG’s with 1 vac line coming out

I generally like to give the wastegate its own source so that it is getting perfect vacuum. That will help prevent boost spike issues.

get a vacuum manifold. its made by golden eagle and its less than $40. i hooked up all of my vac lines there (bov, wastegate, fpr, etc.). also the top port on the wastegate is used for an electronic boost controller. leave this port open unless you plan on using a ebc. use the port on the side.

yo u said u live in endicott ny JIM im in bing. email me so we can chat zas5987@aol.com jim email asap i might know u already but if not ill def help ya

vaccum manifold looks nice, cheap and keeps all ur lines from being tee’d( inturn cutting down on the risk of a boost leak/vaccum leak
spend the cash do it right
