b18a+type-R head + 10 PSI=????

I’ve got a mostly stock b18a and I was woundering if I put a GSR head, and turbo at about 8-10 psi what kind of horse power and quarter mile times I could expect???

O and how much boost would be safe to put to a stock LS b18a bottom end
THX

really good ones

maybe but is it a gsr or type r head?? You know there are not the same right.

with a stock block 10lbs is alittle much plus even if you threw 20 lbs. your car will run like crap if untuned.

what turbo, cunt?
10 psi on a t3 is perfectly fine
look for 300whp or so

P72 or P75 head? the P72 gives you a little more compression ratio… So which is it?

P72-1 Will Probly Run 7psi. T3/T4 HYBRID

your engine will eventually die, b18a with what im going to assume has high mileage and youre not going to build. youre gonna blow it up prolly. also if you run a ls tranny your gonna fall out of vtec and boost most likely unless you use and ihi turbo or something. i would at the very least if i were you invest some money in the engine and a b16 tranny before adding a turbo.

the head im looking at is a p72-1 head and the turbo kit has a T3/T4 turbo
The engine has 51,000 miles on it

there are many t3/t4 turbos that wont even support 250whp… and then there are others that will support 500whp… which turbo do you have specifically

What would be the best head from a stock b18a with 173,xxx on it?

Perhaps you mean “for”.

There really is not a best option out there. People will have their different opinions; mine for instance, a vtec head (i.e. b16, b18c1 cylinder head). Using a VTEC cylinder head allows for some good flow.
