And No you do not need a high flow fuel pump.
A FMU or AFC will help you out, but your best bet is to convert to OBD1, get some DSM 450 fuel injectors, and get your car tuned on some kind of engine management. (Crome, EcTune, AEM, Hondata, etc…)

WOOOWWWW. Talk about getting burned. Ok so cool yeah im not doing a bunk turbo setup i decided that like 2 days after i posted. At the time my integra was POS and i wanted to experiment.

My friend had a d16 with a T3/T4 turbo intercooled with eclipse injectors no tuning stock fuel pump stock motor full exhust and it hauled. He was running about 17 pounds on a daily driver and it went for a good while. Ran like crap but made power. Blew out the clutch. Then it warped a piston and seized… But still. I wanted to do something half as potent and destructive just for a quick little car. And it would probably work for a while no matter how half assed it was.

But thats ok. I’m not gonna do it. I decided to fight the rust and turn my POS integra into a showroom stock quality car… or at least kill the rust and paint it.

that man took a beating and just kept his head up way to go, and as for your friend running 17 psi on a stock d16? wtf is that all about, i did that once threw a t3/t4 on a d16z6 that was coming out for a b20/vtec swap, vice gripped the wastegate and pushed 18-20 psi for about 2 miles at which point 2 rods decided they didn’t like their home in the block anymore lol
