for those who are doing auto X how many are runing turbos and what motor?
I have a b20 and im dying to get into auto X but i want something with boost. I been debating on going N/A or boost and i know N/a is safer in the long run but man do i want boost =]
just want to know if i went went b20-t for auto X… what would be a stable set up ? I dont want to run a high boost so somewhere under… 10psi.
hey dude, you have no experience… how many people do u know with b20T prolly no one mines been running strong for a while NP’s soo u need to stop reading and acting like u know whats up :jerkoff:
if ya got it sleeved, and put a smaller turbo like a gt25 u could zip around the track with barely any lag. Building an all motor beast is not cheap, and in the end chances are gunna cost u more then boostin it. My advice, is do a little more research on b20’s in general, find other guys that own em, and get thier oppinions as well on whats a better setup.
I don’t know much about turbo motors, but I do know a thing or two about autoxing. My suggestion is that you hit up an event with your car the way it is. Run what you brung.
autox is not about the guy with the fastest car it is about the guy with the fastest driving.
i went to an autox today and there were many cars there with too much power spinning out. and in sandiego i’ve seen a almost stock crx run the same time as a viper. cause the viper driver could not handle the power, i’m not saying you wont be able to handle it so please don’t read it like that. i’m just saying you don’t need a fast car to auto x
