Battery Relocation... Turbo related

The battery relocation teg tip is garbage if you ask me. Its very unprofessional.

What Ive done is bought the Taylor relocation kit. I want to run the power wire to the engine bay, and then have a power distribution block under the hood and run the wire to the fuse box and starter from the distribution block.

My question is this, Since my charge pipes are going to be in the way of where the battery was, where is a good spot to mount this power distribution block remeber 2awg wire is big… Any ideas or different methods other then what is mentioned in the teg tips?

Just mount the distributour block on the battery tray so it’s udner the charge pipping. that’s what I did but only I put my ignition box there. if I can fit an ignitioon there. you can fit the block there

is it just me Tchleung or are we doing like the exact same things to our tegs… Youve been a big help… I love pictures could you take one for me? How clean does it look?

Sry I don’t really ahve any pcitures of that particular setup. I’ve swapped diff setups so much that I don’t keept rack anymore. Here’s a picture of my old setup. I had a 90-91 civic SI CAI on at the time in this pic:

When I did have it angled through the battery. It definantly is pretty nice. nicely hidden. yet still visable in a way. with my IGN cause it was kidna big the edge of it did almsot hit teh pipping tho. but you shouldn’t ahve any problems…

My new setup which I’m still building will have the same old curvy style piping around the battery cause I have to leave room there for other stuff. Also took out ignition. I’ll have pics I believe in a week or two…

looks like you did the teg tips version of the batter relocate… :gross:

I made a post on HT maybe Ill get some hits there. THaNks again!

Lol don’t worry. that has been changed now. Ran a new line right to the fuse box. The only reaosn why I did it taht way is cause you can always run a battery in stock lcoation if you ever needed to. wiuthout ahving to change the wire again.
