Beaks and Benen Rear Lower Tie Bars

Will the beaks or benen rear lower tie bar fit our cars even though it says it will fit the 94-01 integras? im lookin to buy one of these. let me know guys thanks

Yes they will… only the rears fit though, not the fronts. You would have to buy the EF/CRX rear tie bars…

I had the same questions too so I emailed a vendor of the Benen tie bars and that’s what they told me… hope that helped…

No they won’t. The only way a rear lower tire bar from a 94-01 integra will fit is if it is adjustable at the ends. The shunk2 rear lower bar fits all integras from 90-01 because it has heims joints at the ends. Your welcome.

if you’re trying to stick to the one-piece design, why not rock the explicitspeed bars?? $100 shipped for a RLTB

Nar93 - guess I wasn’t clear enough with the OP’s question. Yes you are right that the 94+ tie bars won’t fit but if you would to order the tie bars for the EF/CRX, then it would fit our DA’s…

so if i buy the beaks rear lower tie bar for a ef/crx it will fit?

If I remember correctly I don’t think so. Those are actually even shorter then DA integra’s. I’m pretty sure with a company like Beaks they would list it as fitting a 90-93 integra as well, instead of only a EF Civic.

Well actually I wasn’t paying attention about the Beaks tie bar but I did email a Benen vendor and that’s what he told me… the EF/CRX rear lower tie bar will fit on the DA…

ill give it a shot and if it dont fit i can always sell it. lol

Well it’s always better if you call the vendor and double check on the fitment before you order so it wouldn’t be a hassle later on…

You do know your probably not going to be able to sell it for the same price you paid for it. Even if you didn’t really use it but to see if it would fit. Just go buy a RLTB that will fit a DA. Better yet spend the money on something like a bigger rear sway bar that you can tell a difference after installation. It’s your money though, best of luck with your choice.

To sort of answer your question, You can use a Solid Benen Front Lower Tie Bar for 92-00 Civic/94-01 Integra on both the front & back of the DA.
I have Proof kuz …well…I did it!!! :bowthank:

The only problem you may have with this fitment is the clearance of the header and the top of the Benen Bar, Just depends on what size collector your running on the header,… And on the rear, You’ll have to buy longer bolts and some sort of shim to bring the bar away from the bottom of the subframe.
For this problem I used the Black Shims that Benen sends with their front Tow Hook.
Same color, Perfect Depth, and still a Benen Product!!!

what bolts did you use?..

i used washers and longer bolts from napa auto parts.

how did you find benen bar for the DA?

i’ve been trying to hunt one down and it’s like they don’t exist.

i’m guessing EK ones won’t fit either, eh?

if you read the entire thread (which is like 17 posts) you will find your answer on which ones to use…

no one make 1pc tie bar for DA’s thats why one member mention to use the crx/civic rear from benen and another mention he used the front one froim a 92-95 civic/94 & up integra…

benen used to make them specific for the da. (mine is) but they are discontinued.
