shot in the dark…
Just read through your thread, hopefully I’m not running over an issue that was already discussed. I know you thing you’ve narrowed it down to a electrical issue, but I’ve ran across a similar situation and it turned out to be the intake manifold gasket. Almost identical issues as you’ve described. Not sure if this has been checked or if I’m out in left field, just thought I would throw it out there to try and help.

have not checked the im gasket…I havent touched the car in a few days, when something really gets to me I have to just walk away for a while…Ill get back to it tomorrow
Distributor was bad…musta been the crank sensor! thanx to everyone for all your help! What a long issue!
