I’ve finally found a mint black db1. No broken windshield, mis-matched bumpers/fenders misc seats, seat belts function properly ,etc for all of you 2nd gen enthusiast u know what im talking about. Its Auto Magic for Now. I’m just :smiley: I found a Clean titled 2nd Gen w/ a rebuilt ls, picked up for $1100. This makes #6 or 7 for me lol.

Previous Owner had a shortage in the dash and left it like yeah, this is how i took it home. its been sitting for 2 years.

Got her Home and got to wrenching and screaming lol. Omg this Interior is SHOT!!! door panels falling apart,blown speakers and all of the leather seats are cracked/ripped.

I believe the previous owner installed a RS dash harness… i’m missing a sunroof harness and i had too re-range some of the control switches. I’m left with this male connector plug. (green wires, 4 Spade Connector located by fuse box) – if anybody knows what/where this goes please advise me lol or if i have too find a ls/gs harness. hopefully its for the sunroof and everything works. (edit this is the sunroof plug)

cleaned up, daily driven.
Running in too a couple of issues, i will be pulling the oil pan too see if the bottom end is torqued down correctly. its starting too tick around 2-3k rpm and goes away after and fine at idle. did a valve adjustment and still same problem occurs.I put scopes on after,(should have done that first) i can hear it coming from #4 cylinder. believe its the bearing. keep in mind its been sitting for 2 years and engine hasn’t been broken in. I’m rolling at about 200 miles as of right now.

Kevin glad to see you came back to the DA’s. I’ve got the factory service manual and electrical troubleshooting manual so you hit me up with any electrical questions. I helped bobby with his db2. Also I have genuine jdm db1 window visors I’ll sell if you are interested.

thanks, i figured it out where that plug goes, had too take apart a ls harness and bam missing plug goes to my sunroof.

peeled the wood grain off , found a steering wheel and fixed all the misc wiring/lights on the dash.

New oem valve cover gasket and resprayed wrinkled black. also recharged the AC.

got rid of the ballon tires… upgraded to 205/45 16. look at that wheel gap… :tsk:

laokid back on the scene!..but with 2 extra doors for that db action. Good to see ya, but sad to see that you keep getting bad fortune. hopefully this will turn out positive.

Not really, just on part time status. Red turbo-charged GS is a parts car. Purchased a black 1990 LS with 3 cylinders at 180 and 1 at 120 (already knew the motor was going soon, so I low balled the owner from $1,300 to $800 with no problem). Stripped the interior, painted it sterling grey metalic, dumped it and put my Type-Cs on it. Sucks not to be turbo-charged no less running on 3 cylinders. I need to feel turbo charged TORQUE! Enough about me…progress report on you please!

letting it hang dry after I pressure washed the hello out of it.

anybody used this product on carpet? oh well too late now lol
