That’s what I meant, obd1.

No pics but tells you everything.
Well I hit a bump that i hit everyday(unavoidable) and it caused one of my exhaust hangers to break… Lucky for me Oviedo is a small town where im either down the street from my house or down the street from the shop. and i still havent done my rear brakes, and its metal to metal.
Been busy a while, but I got some work done today. Did a valve adjustment and a compression test today. Results:
Cylinder 1-200 psi
Cylinder 2-180 psi
Cylinder 3-180 psi
Cylinder 4-185 psi
All within 10%
I need plug wires though
nice numbers:up:
Thanks man.
well, last night I finally replaced my drivers side lower ball joint because it was squeeking real bad. It took some ridiculous amounts of beating a ball joint separator (pickle fork) with a sledge at 10pm. Needless to say my neighbors hate my guts real bad. I’m gonna do the other side later today.
Car is driving great. No more squeaky balljoints.
This weekend I decided I was gonna calculate my gas mileage, so I filled up my car and drove 112.7 miles in 2 days. This morning I topped it off with 3 gallons which means…
Approx. 37.5mpg all City.
Next time I go to Miami I’ll measure my highway mileage.
After that I plan on getting a Tanabe exhaust or a custom Magnaflow.
Trying to help a fellow DA/DB owner out with a compression test?
The compression tester belongs to my school. And the only way to use it is to have the car at school and I don’t have time till next week, I need to see a cardiologist tomorrow…
It’s all good. I forgot mine back in VA when I moved down here and was just giving it a shot. At least you didn’t say fuck off like the last guy lol
Its cool. I don’t mind helping people out because i hate when people are douche bags like that.
Just bought a new battery for my car because it wouldnt start this morning and it made me miss my class. O well, New battery and the teg is running smoother with it.
Just so you know…there is a group of us who hang out pretty regularly here in Casselberry, by Red Bug Lake Rd! We need to get together sometime. I have a few 2nd Gens and usuall have a slew of them here on a regluar basis.

Thats incorrect information, ls motors are low compression and his number are right on the money.
On a b18a1 engine the compression results should be btwn 135 minimum to about 199 depending on if its obd0 or obd1. There should never be a variation of more than 28psi per cylinder.
You would have had to buy a compression test kit specifically for a b18a1 motor for that manual to he correct…you shouldnt post information that you are un sure of…can cause more harm then good.
Havent updated anything in a while. Work has been owning me, 6+ days a week at the inlaws bodyshop.
Last month a rust patch on my exhaust broke and dropped the rear half of my exhaust. I got unbelievably loud and sounded like some of the douche bags driving civics with straight pipe… I couldnt hear myself think for a whole week, then i finally got around to welding the break and patching all the holes. sounds beautiful now.
Last week i took an hour drive to a transmision shop to get my girls transmision done. On the way back my radiator thought that the halfway point was perfect for blowing a hole between the core and tank. I did manage to patch it and get home. Now Im the proud owner of a mishimoto radiator and new oem water pump. I never thought a radiator could look so beautiful.
