Thanks DAve, your welcome to come down and help me wrech anytime, I would consider it an honor to have an OG like yourself to come put some work in
yeah MrP, hurry up. we dont want to disapoint Laydee:D
HAHA, I wish⦠Im not sure if I could afford to replace every nut and bolt lol
on with the good stuff.
:::UPDATES:::
Got all the preping done and a majority of the painting
started by pulling off all the little pads. they all came of very easily with the exception of this one. needed to get my mini torch and a puddy knife out to get it off. sadly I dont think this one will be resueable so I ll have to find some thing to replace itā¦
Next up I wire wheeled most of the larger thicker chunks of rust.
So I got word the Teins are done and are in the mail on there way back to me
And you plan on giving them to me?
Good work, now we can roll in style. Been working almost 50 hours a week for a bit now, so if I ever GET a day to myself (2 jobs sucks), Iāll have to dig into a new Master Cly. and ABS system, as well as Fuel relay. Koni Yellows with GC are in the cards if the paycheckās real nice and bills are less. (maybe next month.)
I also want to dig into body work this summer.
All in, we should roll while we still can. Springās here, time for another G2IC:CO meet!
Iāve considered the Tein N1 kit, for EG/DC applications at some point. Seems rather aggressive, though. Will wait til the car is going to be closer to be ātrack onlyā before I go that route, though. Until then, as you stated, I LOVE my Koni/GC combo. Does the job. Handles well, and isnāt TOO harsh on the street
I was very impressed with Glynnās setup on the track, and they ride nice on the street. His car was like a go cart cart, and the rear end was more than happy to play.
great buildā¦iām loving it!
Thank you:bow:
im not going to get into which is better cause it is all a matter of personal preference. personaly I love my teins. there extreamly comfortable while cruising down the streets yet stiff enough to abuse at the track. cant ask for much more at this point in its life
HAHA, sometimes a little to happy to play if you ask me. Ive been reading up and I think next time I head out im going to soften up the rebound in the rear a little and that should help neutralize it a little bit.
Well Ive got good updates and bad updates, let me sort threw bad first and then ill post them up

no way man! That was waaay to much fun passing that Audi R8 sideways at 80mph. I am sure he was just as surprised as us looking at him through the front of the car through his side glass.
I hope the bad updates are not so bad.*Crosses fingers.

LMAO. Just goes to show that even the Audi drivers that track their $150,000 supercar are still slow. :snicker:
