my fuel pump is not working any more.
I bought a genuine bosch 044 from a friend, and this is the only pump I have now.
in which way do you recommend me to install it ?
I want to mount it outside of the tank so that I will not drop the tank again. (damn)
should I drill a hole on the tank ? where should be this hole ?

You will have a hard time mounting it in the tank as the body of the 044 is too big to get it into the tank. I recommend mounting it inline basically where the connections are made beside the tank. But you must have a working pump inside feeding it. Or you need to sump your tank and have the fuel drawn from the rear of the tank to the pump. Or you can build a surge tank and incorperate it into the tank. There are many options it all depends on what kind of power and how you are going to use it that can determine how you mount it. If you feed an o44 with another pump it makes it work less hard and can render more output as it doesnt have to suck the fuel.
