Timing belt & Water Pump

Wanting to do some of the old age maintenance like water pump and timing belt. Im not to experienced in that departmnent so i rather pay someone to do it. Any one recommend shops here in South Fl like anywhere from Broward to Miami and how much should i expect to pay on a job for both and/or individually?

Replied to your other post in stock.

Thanks bro

Fog Mod

Finally got around to do doing the famous fog light mod. It came out pretty well, i used teg tips for the defogger set up. People claim its lasted for years with no problems and both fogs and defogger still working so lets see.

So far the only issue I have had with the independent fog light mod was that it made disassembling the dash a little more difficult but that was it.

Didn’t mean to double post

^^Off topic, but aren’t you on stanceworks boltonhonda? You’ve got/had a blue DA with some enkeis? I’m jalenda9 on there too. I’ve got a build thread called trying to do this right. Lol anyhow, to op, nice work on the car, now all you need is some fog light capsules if you like that look haha.

I can imagine down the line it may be a bitch. And the wiring was slightly harder to wire than LS, GS, GSR because the fog light switch is on the other side of the steering column opposed to the defogger. but it was a free mod that looks nice can’t beat that

cheap wheels

Here they are. the HX wheels. they are white with red H center caps. got them for 100 bucks with better than decent tires, and all center caps included. Pretty good deal if you ask me. The front was hard to fit as the wheels didn’t clear the brakes but i added a spacer and fit perfect. this is just a mean time wheel but i like the red on white combo.

Are you still selling it, or decide to keep it?

i played with the idea of selling, but in reality it’s worth more to me then most people so rather just build it.

I saw your post on Craigslist a few week ago. The DA sickness includes always trying to find another one worth buying.

Lsv

Okay so i’ve been planning to get some more power out of the teg and was thinking to do and Ls Vtec. At first i was hesitant due to it not being a manufacturer motor, but if built right many have vouched for reliability and power gains. So here was what I was thinking

-b18a1 bottom end
-stock crank
-stock pistons
-b16 head, with valves & springs and retainers
-aftermarket cam and cam gears (if anyone has a good recommendation plz lmk)
-upgraded intake mani (probably skunk 2)
-headers
-stock fuel pump & injectors
-tuned (recommendations appreciated)
-ARP bolts all around

also if anyone has a recommendation to make this a more reliable set up please let me know, and if any other things should added, or what to check for before doing this setup on the motor. I would like to keep my ac. If i have to lose power-steering i don’t mind just prefer to keep it.

Update

just did a vc gasket, plugs & wires, and oil change. im looking to replace my sway bar bushings next and hunt for some bigger wheels. The Lsv plans are still in my future just doing smaller things first that will help insure reliability. here are some pics i took. GTR had legit te37’s i was jealous.:sad:

More stock wheels…lol

well like i said before the HX’s were temporary and they were too small for my liking. traded them straight up for some webs. looks 10x better IMO less wheel gap.

I would go for a gsr crank reason being the stock cranks aren’t as strong as the gsr ones also you might want some stronger piston rods and a slightly higher compression piston but nothing to crazy

By the way great build

thanks bro. stay tuned some goodies coming in this week.
