im building my first boosted b16 i want to get at least 300+ whp im not sure what size turbo to go with or if i should get a kit or piece the whole thing out im already getting a edlebrock tb & im, aem fuel rail, filter, fuel regulator, walbro 255 fuel pump, 550 rc injectors, blox cams, valve springs & retainers, aem cam gears, dc 4-1 headers, not sure what pistons to go with and also not sure what bore to go with i also plan on going wit crome engine mangment, if i forgot something or if anybody has any good ideas let me know thanks :salute:
Well, if you’re going the turbo charger route, I’d sugest returning the DC Sports header, unless you’re doing a remote mount turbo system. As for buying a kit or piecing it together, I personally like to piece it together. That way I can pick and choose what I like and don’t like. I too am building a turbo B16 and a B16A2 to be precise, VTEC baby! You can see a lot of the pieces I bought here http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147039 . I’m using the Garrett T3/T04E turbo, great spool characteristics too. As for pistons there are Arias, JE, etc. For rods there are Golden Eagle, Crower, etc.
I don’t know much about Chrome Engine Management. I’m using either Zdyne or Hondata. Hope any of this helped. Later
ge is sleeves and whatnot… ur thinking or eagle for rods… might want to edit real quick.
