So after my recent wreck, I put the car down and finally got everything done! Don’t have the intercooler pics yet, but i’m putting the bumper back on today, so I will have more motor shots later, I did the body work myself and sum friends helped me with the swap, car runs good has a few lean spots up top though, so i’m taking it easy until I get the car re-tune. Currently running a chipped P28 on crome, same setup except my turbo is a tad bit bigger than what the tune has on it, and I need to install my walbro fuel pump, cause i’m currently running the stocker, I have my trusty wideband hooked up though:)

motor was boosted by the previous owner, and the turbo seals were shot, turbo puked oil all over the block, he never cleaned it off. I cleaned it the best I could before I put it in though. Yeah I need to take some turbo setup pics, just put my front bumper back on today. Car looks stock:up:
it’s not to bad, I am still waiting on the drivers side mount to come in, they sent me the wrong mount for that side. All other mounts are in and car doesn’t vibrate to bad, but i’m running a 3in open downpipe to it’s loud and the whole car vibrates from the exhaust anyway so it’s to hard to really tell just yet.
ok cool. Im gonna go ahead and pay the extra $10.00 and get the race mounts as well then. Just needed feedback if they are better than the street mounts.
^ yep, entire valvetrain is stock. I want to upgrade the valve springs and retainers, so I can rev to 9,000. The turbo still wants to pull more past 8,200. But i won’t rev any higher than 8,200 on the current valvetrain.
i just installed the prothane inserts and my car shakes like hell! i have the driver side, rear, and passenger side trans mount. i removed the front mount because it was destroyed and useless since the engine doesnt move at all anymore. at cold start up, my car shakes like theres no tomorrow but simmers down once its idling. i can just imagine how the solid mounts must be.
