Basically you would need everything that comes out of like a DC integra. Pedal assembly as well. As far as it being difficult, that’s probably why they make conversions now. Like Hush22.
Very interesting…I have the hush 22 kit. I’m curious on the setup above. I can see that this would be a PIA trying to do this with the engine installed.
clutch pedal is from EK, break and accel are DA (cut off clutch part)
[/QUOTE]
So you cut off the DA clutch pedal and mounted the EK set up separate from the DA pedals? Then just ran all the lines? How is that working out for you>?
The more I look at the pics, the more questions I have. How is the fit once the Brake Booster is in? Or are you going to delete the BB? Did you have to modify the strut tower to make the Clutch Master fit?
Wtf ??? Never in my life have I seen this done to a g2, I was told a few years back that this was possible & to go make your own using (yes) ek 96-00 h-civic pedal ass, but that to me just didn’t seem realistic until I saw THIS. hmmm interesting I’m impressed but have a few concerns or questions.
I’m so curious about this, I would love nothing more than my car to have that true full hydro clutch feel like on ek’s and dc2’s and I’m so so tempted on doing this but like someone else said would the brake booster fit normally w out any mods and is it possible to drill out the holes for the master with the engine installed bc I sures in hell don’t feel like yanking that fu**er back out after I just recently finished putting it back in. So anyone with any feed back on this would be awesome so I can get my project finished so that I can at-least drive the damn thing.
i have a hush22 kit. was going to do this but decided the kit better. cleaner no cutting or drilling n perfect for bay tucks n wat not. i love my kit!!
How does that kit (hush22) work for ya ? ? Do you have full pedal travel ? Do you need to use your clutch spring? If I get enough feedback on this product I might purchase it instead of going the other route. Sorry for so many questions but I’m really curious about how it works and if it’s good for a daily driver or not.
I have the hush kit on my daily driver. My clutch pedal is stiff so I removed the spring hoping it would help, it didn’t. I don’t know if it’s because of my no-name clutch? I also noticed my clutch master cylinder has a leak. So i will be replacing that soon. The clutch pedal on my stock 95 civic is barely noticeable. It has a no name clutch. That is what I was hoping with the hush kit. But it is not what I have so far. Not even close. Maybe when I change the clutch? CMC? Won’t know until then.
What the hush kit does do, more so than anything else out there, is clean up the engine bay. If someone is going from auto to manual with this kit (which I do recommend), there is no need to drill the big ugly hole for the clutch cable (wish I would have known about this kit before I did my conversion…).
Hmmm seems fair enough, I personally have the sonem kit and it’s stiff but not to stiff but say rather stiffer than my 99 dc2. My only problem is that I can’t get it in gear and I don’t have full pedal travel, I have a oem style (exedy) master cylinder, but I can’t press the pedal past the half way mark. I’ve tried everything with no luck. Have you had this problem or any and what remedies did you take bc I’m getting really frustrated with this whole ordeal. By the way I also went from Auto to manual w/ hydro trans, and I saw your thread and it helped me on that tranny bracket and bolt that had to be larger, if I didn’t saw that I would have had to pull that damn tranny back out so I thank you for that, everything else I did on my own but I did get the innovative auto to manual w hydro trans mount. I really miss driving my car and hearing the sound of the v if you know what I mean. It’s been nearly two years since my poor little teg has seen any road time or been running for more that ten minutes at a time.
I have full pedal travel. The problem I had was at first my pedal was too high. I fixed that by removing the adjustment nut on the CMC and screwing the CMC bracket all the way in. But even with the pedal too high, I was always able to get in gear. You may want to bleed your system again. I know with my setup it took longer than I expected to get the system properly bled.
Thanks for replying to me and I’ll keep on bleeding it. And maybe I’ll get the new v2 hush22 bracket for the da that is coming out in oct21 I believe, it’s supposed to be a little more refined than the v1 that you have although I always thought that the one for the da was the v2.5 but I guess I was wrong it’s the v1 from what he said. The ef’s have had a few versions come out since it came out but the 90-93 integra has only had one version, and soon they’ll be having a second version.
well i dont have clutch springs and its 6puk with 250lb presure plate and i dayly drive it. pedal is hard but it was harder wen i hade that inovative actuator. i love how finally my foot could open the clutch faster then i can shift it actually stopd grindng gears aswell. im very happy i havent had a problem yet. only thing is you have to re-rout or eliminate the air vent above ur steering colomn and its a tight place so its advise u remove ur dash 4 easyr acces. hush22 actually has a coplete kit with cylndr n lines n all. i love my full hydro DA
I’ve already had to re-route the air-vents but they still work but not as good as before bc I think I’m loosing pressure through the smaller tubes I used to substitute the older oem ones. Now as far as clutch springs I was talking about the one on the clutch foot pedal not the clutch disk, but I’m glad you mentioned it. I’m also glad you stopped grinding gears bc I can’t even get mine in any gear bc I don’t have full pedal travel. My master buttoms out before actually halfway through only so basically it’s never reached the floor yet not even close, so it sucks that it feels like my foot is floating when I’m pressing in the clutch and I let off it barely grabs at the very top , seems like past the top to me. And No I don’t have the hush22 kit I have the sonem suja one. I’ve actually just recently talked to robert A.K.A hush22 guy and he said that in a month there will be a event in tucson az two hours from here or so and there he will be advertizing the new v2 da cable to hydro set-up bracket. From my understanding it’s just like the v1 (the one you have) just a little more revised that’s all and it should be more streetable from what I heard so we’ll see what happens. I will try to go to the event myself so that I can purchase this new product I’m very curious to see how it performs and how different it is from the one you guy’s already have.
u have the actuator? thats y u cant get the gears in u need a new cable i knw i always kept 1 for bak up lol (main reason i went hydro)
yea i seen the sulja1 it looks good 2. the only problem i have now with my hydro is getting my tires to stick!

The suja1 da sonem kit like the hush22 does not use an actuator it’s all hydro. I have a sonem bracket with an exedy master cylinder with a stainles steel line to an oem slave that engages the clutch. So there is no need for a clutch cable bc the kit is design not to use one that’s the whole idea to stay away from a clutch cable bc when you have an actuator trying to engage your clutch it tends to stetch the clutch cable out due to the amount of force it takes the actuator to engage your clutch the us putting loads of stress on your clutch cable and clutch pedal. Does that make sense now ?
