Cams

Im boosting my B18A1 and Im looking for about a 350hp goal. I know what most everything Im going with but not sure about the head… I want cams, dual srpings, ti retainers, 3 angle valve job, port matched with the intake and tubular mani…just a medium build. I just really dont know what cams to use?? Can anyone give me some ideas or suggestions on my head build??

im currently running the crower stage 3 cams the 404’s(the all motor cams)

eith them degreed in and the timing advance with my current set-up(full port, 3 angle and all) im running around if not more than 350 to the wheels…

The all motor cams work well with your turbo setup? What about the crower stage 2 turbo cams?

You can hit 350whp on stock cams. Usually people go with turbo cams when they hit a wall in terms of making more power.

i dont know anyone making big numbers on turbo spec cams.

Then what is the point in turbo spec cams if u cant make good power with them? I just want some suggestions on a good set of cams to use for my boosted B18A1…

the best cams to use in the LS-T is the JG 303’S hands down

so u think the JG 303s are what i should go with? ive read that they are graet cams and make great numbers. I just want to make sure thats good for my LS Turbo build.

trust they are what you are looking for in a ls cam or u can contact exospeed for there cams

turbo cams are good when you have a small turbo because they’re more orientated for low-mid range power. if you have a big turbo then the turbo cams wont keep up at higher rpm’s which is why people run n/a cams for big hp setups.

So u think JG 303s will do me good with my 76trim exhaust turbine .63 a/r?

Compressor side 55 trim w/ .70 a/r. It has a ported 4 inch inlet shroud and a 2 1/2 inch outlet. With JG 303s, dual valve springs, ti retainers, 3 angle valve job, and port work…do u thinK that will support the power I want out of my turbo build along with a bottom end build?
