The first tie I did it by myself on the gronud wit h jackes and jack stands and NO mechanical knowledge 3 years ago. it took me like 4 hours lmao. Second time with alot more knowledge and a hoist and a tranny jack had it done by myself in about 30 mins third time on the ground same as first time was about 6 minutes with a friend helpnig me reinstall the tank onto the car

anything that you recommend such as tools or spare parts when doing so?
It will be my first time dropping the tank itself.
its not hard to drop it yourself, i did it and i’m a little guy 
running it low on gas before you drop it helps and just having a jackstand ready. make sure u have something in between the stand and gas tank lol. the thing that took me a while was getting to the lines and disconnecting them. oh yeah, use new washers when u put it back together.
Dropping the tank is the easy part. a little tougher putting it back on. For a helpful hint, use the gas tank straps as a ramp/guide 
Wear safety glasses…gas in the eyes sucks!
