just wondering with the hks its 2.5" just wondering if anyone is running this exahust with a turbo setup. or if you can run this exhaust you may just have to fab it to fit? i bought one and now worried with soon to be running boost if it going to have to be cut to fit
It will be fine. I am still running a Greddy SP classic exhaust which has a 2" outside diameter
i’d say its the best sounding exhaust, and i ran that exhaust on my custom t-25 turbo kit. flowed good never had a problem. and sounded awesome
hks hi power is 2.25" not 2.5
im running custom 3’ exsaust with hks hi-power muffler.
Actually, it’s 2.36 since it’s 60mm piping.
:werd:
Im sure you could run it with no problems, but maybe you should go into your setup a little more. with a small turbo and low boost, you will be fine with it, if your running something bigger with more then 10lbs of boost. its going to be a huge bottle neck in your system.
personaly im not taking any chances and im selling my HKS in favor of a 3" system to ensure I get the maximum flow from it:)
its actually 55MM diameter piping so it would be 2.165354330711inches
I stand corrected. I assumed it was a 60mm piping. Fail for me.
ya i just wanna run low boost, atleast for now, so ill grab hks, an if i want more boost ill add 3 inch.
