i am thinking about it, something more stronger and the perfect length. but my issue is that the engine sits “lower” and i have to be at least 1.5"-2" above tire or my axle will wear out quicker.
here are some pics of what how my axles sit flat on the ground
Passenger side shot taken from the front because the tie rod arm would be in the way.
i love hearing great feed back. thank you! and everybody on g2ic!!
Skunk2 Pro S version 1. i really like it, wish i could afford Pro C but the s1 are great full coil overs. easy to adjust v.s. the spinning bottom
Everything working together in perfect harmony;
-Clutch cable
-Throttle cable
-intake to brake booster vacuum hose
-Radiator hose
-Intake
-HR shift cables
-Vehicle speed sensor
The proper upper radiator hose is from a RSX app,
k-swap hoses won’t work but the lower hose will.
Thank you David @ Hybrid-Racing. much appreciated bro!!
hey man can u shoot me an email with all the little shit that needs to be done and parts to put a k into a da? im gonna tackle this swap soon i think with a k24
Not trying to be a dick, but can you just start at page 1 on this thread? I’ve done so much and spent countless amount of money trying to figure out how to do this…even recorded the process on 2 different forums. If you have any specific questions, let me know and ill try to help. But i’m not going to email you everything i did when it’s already here. Good luck on your build.
i was building gsr motor for it but sold it all and bought a cadillac. but now i want a k since i been auto crossing and wanna road course, my lil b ain’t quick enough anymore
i wouldnt take my car autocrossing quit yet…we have a really bad axle strain and i’m not 100% confident on my set up. i have been driving it around for a couple months around the city and town. pushing it hard so it’ll break down here locally.
Road racing or circuit racing would my type of track
i hope to one day talk to Drive shaft shop to build custom length axles for my set up… hope to see your DA k-swap soon!
Expensive seems to be the name of the game when it comes to k-swaps… In comparison to a B, anyway.
I nearly fell out laughing when people tried to argue that a k-swap can be had for 3k in a DA.
As always nice progress dude.
there are many routes too choose from when it comes down to your budget… I honestly couldn’t have done it for 3k… There is so much modification that has to be done just to make it function… and going K, you really have to get rid of everything and start over with all the components; fuel, cooling, exhaust, axle, harness, ecu/immobilizer, radiator, mounts, custom harness, shifter/cables, & etc
and if your going with high end quality parts… better start saving now and sale your X-Box.
Outside my friends shop. replacing that driver side axle boot. been about 2 months and has been axle boot leak freee!! still keeping a close eye on it and pushing it here and there. so far soo good.
One of my best friends & team members EF9.
Such a bad ass shifter, it’s a shame to hide it under the boot #instagram#Hybridracing
Yay, bronze glass all around!
