Can't spell Honda with out DA! (introduction/build)

Any more updates on your build?

just curious whats the ground clearence on your traction bar…im gonna be pretty damn low…so i think i might have to stay with my stock one…great build by the way~!!!

Sorry tony, here’s a lil something.
Skunk2 Camber kit, black series LCA, ASR Subframe brace w/24mm sway bars and Suspension Technique 24mm sway bar (front) K-tuned traction bar. & 3" Thermal RD stainless steal exhaust.

Currently working on resolving my “Rear mount and Header” clearance

not too low. bolts right up to where the original tow hook is.

wow that looks great up under there…i need to go ahead and get the rest of my suspension tended to, feels like slop

thats looking good:up:

Thx!! Currently waiting on Hasport to see if they can give me a revised rear mount.
but in the mean time i started working on the interior.
Pretty much removed everything and gave all my panels a good Armor All rub down.

Getting things ready to have my seat belt b-pillar nut welded and mount bracket.
After that i can say everything about my suspension and Interior is where i want it to be.

a few parts just waiting for me to hurry up.

ill have more pics of the progress in a few days.

IMO, ditch the front sway bar and go with 32mm in the rear. I’d recommend that, suspension is too stiff from what im seeing. Im just curious, is this for track/auto cross?

Auto cross. Are You saying no front sway bar and thicker sway for the rear??

I didnt go through the thread, just the last page but, Gales? If so, i like.

Also, i have the same illusion brick jack stand. Works wonders. lol

Common man, go back to the first page atleast!

Wow man, your parts list and work so far is full of win! I like everything so far!

Thanks!

Test fit:
My issue with Hasport at the moment is that they designed the rear mount to be located underneath the sub-frame.
Seems like they went with the 06-11 Civic’s rear mount location/design. Hasport test fitted some of the header that were in the market at the time for clearance but Skunk2 didn’t come out with their design until almost a year later…I’m going to try to still make it work.

Once the engine is mounted i can see exactly how much clearance i have with the rear mount by rocking it into position.

Bracket location. worst comes to worst, im going to have to trim off the bottom left corner.

spet some time in the engine bay

Im pretty happy with it!! I appreciate you coming out and help Sal!

Things to do this weekend.
bleed the brake system and check for leaks.
Install manual seat belts, Interior assembly, dash, seats, panels etc
back on all 4 wheels.

is going to watch this thread

Cool =)

Brake system bled with OEM brake fluid. NO leaks!!

Dash got a good clean wipe down and is now bolted down

Jdm DC steering wheel & Jdm gauge cluster with USdm mph tach.

awesome build so far!

However… all that work and you’ve got a crush bent exhaust/??? WTF DUDE!!! Also, I’d ditch the skunk2 pro-s and go for the pro-c. They’re a MUCH better set up if you want to go hardcore. I’ve got the pro-c’s made for DC with the thicker shock body and they’re amazing!

Even tho it’s crush bent, it’s still a true 3" all the way through. Wasn’t rigged up at a muffler shop it’s a real Thermal r&d exhaust.

Pro c would be great! I even think the S two’s handle like butter. But unfortunately it’s not in my budget, it will be on the wish list for next year…hopefully

Had these fluids for a while. Going to be setting them aside for this week.

New Exedy clutch kit getting installed on monday. flywheel will be sent out to be resurfaced and going to be ordering a new main seal while i’m at it.

Also removed the stock fuel rail and bolted down the new K-tuned rail.

my seat belts and seats will be going in soon & then the engine. hope everything goes to plan. wish me luck!

Replaced my axle & main seal. They weren’t leaking but since the transmission was off, i might as well

Going to be doing a valve adjustment tomorrow.
