Car dies when given too much throttle.

So i just recently converted my 90 DA GS to obd1, i did it all correct. and turbo’d the car correctly.

Now when i start it, it runs like crap and when i give it throttle too fast it sputters and sometimes dies. also when i try to give it Wide Open Throttle it dies.

My boost/vac gauge is showing 20lbs of vacuum when idle.

MAP sensor, or it could be ignition related.

There is this old saying with turbo motors that says to tighten the plug gap to .028 to eliminate losing spark. Give it a try first!

stupid question…is it tuned?

Ya the spark plug gap makes a huge difference as my friend and i have found out on turbo cars!

Air Fuel Mixture? Too much air forced in and not enough fuel, could be snuffing out the spark.
