Anyways I just traded my turbo kit (yes this makes me sad) for fresh shortblocks and head (get your mind out of the gutter!!!).

Specs…

B18A1 (still has crosshatch, I was surpised by this, was told less than 500 miles on block cross hatching sorta confirms this)
ITR water and oil pump
New tensioner
CTR pistons
Eagle H beam Rods
ARP Rod and main bolts
ARP head studs (need to verify they are GSR/ITR or I will give em to Agazzi or GLynn)
Comes with all accesories besides alternator
Tapped for knock sensor and other LS vtec stuffz

B16A (suposedly has less than 1k miles)
Wiseco 9:1 comp forged pistons (one tapped a valve and needs replaced)
New ITR water and oil pump
New tensioner
Eagle H-Beam Rods
ARP Rod and main bolts
ARP head studs
SOme accessories
Golden Eagle Block guard
Built by TC Performance

PR3 head
Fully ported and polished
Valve seats cut for oversized valves

And the guy let me keep a full set of charge pipes, hondata s100, new johnnyrace classic fmic, turbonetics exhaust mani.

I feel I got an outstanding deal and both parties are very happy. Good deal.

Plans at next meetup are:
Remove drivetrain from integra; seperate engine from trans and bag it and send it to storage. Swap JDM Sir-G for JDM ITR cams from b17 to b18.
Inspect clutch and flywheel
Give Agazzi what I owe him and p61 IM setup :slight_smile:
Disassemble both blocks fully and inspect (need to make sure what I was told is there is there)
Disassemble head fully and inspect
Bag LS block and head, crank, pistons and rods and get it ready to take to a machine shop.
Bag b16a setup disassembled for a later day when I can afford to boost properly.
And lastly have a great time doing it. Yay I am very excited.

I am also having mad plans for the AEBS. I will be taking it to the machine shop for extrude honing. When I get it back I will be port matching using this method. Besides the holes it seems the BEST way to guarantee it matches the head. Yeah its for oldsmobile 307 V8 but the method will work.

Lol not too much to update on. I removed a bunch crap, radiator, crossmember, etc. Engine is close to ready to come out.

I am going to be tearing down some engines and taking at least one to the machine shop. You should join me!

Will it be done by this weekend?

Maybe this weekend by 2011. I am tired of my slapdash shit. I do know that now that the car is down I will be doing it right. In 2 monthes it should have a fresh out of the machine shop and rebuilt head and block, neptune, tein basics, and tires on the souls. And thats it, cause it will still need assembly, and a multitude of crap and I should be about out of cash to throw at the car lol.

Ahhh I am dreamin again. And sometimes I want to scrap the whole notion of going fast and spend the flow on a paintjob, dumping the car, mounting the hiro (yeah, I have one of those tucked away too lol), getting some power mirrors a lip and calling it a day. Low and slow lookin good for the show lol.

But hope you can still come out for cruise even if its not ready. Or do you usually go? Cause I haven’t been around to know this.

I usually always go on the cruises when its advertised; otherwise I don’t make the weekly or local cruises I’m way down in the springs. But I got a lip kit going on the wagovan this weekend so it should be pimptastic.
