Carpet hold-down clips (door-side)

(I worked on this while I was fixing sunroof rust - waiting for dry/cure times)

Related to my other thread regarding the aftermarket carpet, I designed these clips with teeth to bite onto the carpet and hold it onto the sheet metal.

Clips are in orange and in PLA material right now in pic. Final ones will be in ABS or nylon.

Comments welcomed.

Update after a few days: These are holding up very well despite being PLA and in the Florida 90+ degree days.

I think installing them every 6 inches / 15cm would be better, along with using the butyl tape to help grap onto the carpet. You can see that I have used grey butyl tape to help secure it to the sheet metal, but it isn’t strong enough alone. (i.e. I used the tape alone BEFORE making these clips.) However, the butyl tape on the underside of the carpet gives the clip’s teeth extra holding strength, and that’s how it’s setup right now.

I will include a strip of this tape once I make it available for everyone.
