The weld’s look better than what I can do, Although iv only welded like 3 time’s (Still learning in my high school).
Although my uncle has been a welder on car’s for the last 15Years and my brother is just finishing up welding school ill see what they have to say about the pictures…
EDIT: They looked at it and both said the temperature was waay to high and the welder roushed to much.
Honestly, if you do get this to court like you say you are, id be suprised. I really dont expect anything to come out of this, only because of the realitively low amount of money claimed, the fact that kyle doesnt own a registered business, the fact hes a minor, and the fact that he lives half way across the country. If you do take it to court, the more power to you, and good luck.

Steve, you have it backwards. It will go to court for a fraud company. The law takes fraud VERY seriously. This is not a low amount. Remember what I said about a bud of mine who got $3000 from a part that was $950. No amount is too low. The fact that he is a minor WILL and I mean WILL fuck his parents big time. This is something that will come up on their credit. The fact that he lives so far away makes it even worst for him because that is also considered internet fraud. You guys over there really need to read up. Kyle and his family are screwed if Jake takes him to court. You all can act like badasses, but Kyle’s family is the only one that will be taking it up the rear. I warned Kyle and tried to help my best, but it seems that he wants to learn the hard way…so be it. I show no pitty.

Steve, then if thats not what you ment you shouldnt have posted it. If you dont know a lot about the law then why make an opinion. This WILL see a court room. I can guarantee that. Its all a matter if Jake follows through with it.
Im done with this thread. People think they know whats going to happen yet they have never been involved with this shit. It pisses me off. Too much drama, and people who think they know everything yet everything they say is just stupid.
I just thought of something, Jake, take the bar to a few real big companies that do fab work, and ask them if they can write a letter on the condition of the bar. Having information from major companies is a big

oh yeah, something a friend told me from dealing with his tenants in small-claims court: don’t cash the check you got from Kyle’s mom yet, doing so can indicate an acceptance that that amount of money is good enough to cover what you want from them.
come on man, my dad has had to do multiple settlements. the most recent he told me a few pointers. the main one is that nothing is overwith untill you have a letter that says that the check is the full and total amount of the settlement. i wouldnt cash it tho cuz its not worth shit. $50 of 420? waste of time.

as long as jake sends a letter to them prior to cashing the check to let them know he received their $50 payment and is awaiting payment of the rest of the amount due he’s fine. that basically is proof in court that he wasn’t accepting that as full payment, and that he feels there’s more of a debt owed.
ok, my friend’s lawyer told him not to cash a partial rent check he received from a tenant, because cashing it would signal acceptance as payment. That is what I was referring to.
dont worry guys. im not a frickin idiot. the MO is sitting right here. i would have gone to the lawyers yesterday but i had salmonella poisoning and threw up 22 times. the i had to make my final up today. im gonna swing by the lawyers tomorrow when i go to the bank and give him the rest of the information to draft the certified letter. well, im all done with school now, pulled another 4.0, so i can focus on this matter now… like preston said, this is just a matter of me actually suing him or not.

Maybe the company I work for could get some pointers from CCF. We do stupid stuff like building jigs for custom parts. We also waste time by tacking it in place for fitment, then removing to weld properly. We also clean the spittle - then paint.
One of the companies my company deals with is Panera Bread in the States. Maybe the next time we send them a piece, I’ll just drop a steaming coiler in a box and note that says “Custom order. No Refunds.”
It’s obvious to me the welds were way too hot, if it was welded. Judging by this clowns attitude i’d check to make sure it wasn’t Hubba Bubba holding it together.

i think i might give this company a shot. he says 420 for bolt-in or weld-in cage, pretty cool roll-bar if ya ask me. 420+s/h for a bolt in bar that has a raised harness bar since im 6’3. thanks jake for posting that link.
constant whining and bitching that he couldn’t post anything he wanted under the sun in OT. there were rules, he was told he needed to follow them just like the rest of us (i really disagree with the no political discussion rule, but i understand why it was enacted and i follow it just like everyone else), he didn’t follow the rules, he got warned, he got bitchy, he got banned.
