Charge Pipe question

Can anyone tell me what pipes to use to make these kind of upper charge pipe. I know you can use a U bend from Summit. But does anyone know the inside radius, and where do you cut it.

I borrowed these pics form the site. Hope the owners don’t mind.

that’s actually not a bad deal when you price it out. probably don’t have to worry too much about it being too cheap as the parts seem basic enough and not under as much stress as the exhaust.

We just copied the flow of the AEM intake and welded up a nice pipe, painted it gloss black flapdisked the welds and looks like a million bucks.

For sure, especially with the T-Bolt clamps

welding is no problem. a guy at my work does great tig welding. I just want the straight pipe not the curves.

you can get your straight pipe from Summit as well.

although the u-bends that Summit sells have like 14" legs, so you could just use 2 legs buttwelded together to make them that long(what i did in my CRX)

put like 6-8 lil tacks on the end of each chargepipe section around the diameter of the pipe where a silicone hose will connect and it will act similare to a bead roll

for the upper pipe i used my aem intake…but works goodfor me :rockon:
