I just modded a stereo kit for the teg. cut the back a bit out of the cd holder to clear the EBC and timer. velcroed them on(those are the white things) then bought a 3 guage din plate that angles them towards the driver. Was really easy to do.

Just giving other ppl ideas of where to installl guages etc if your pillar runs out of room or you don’t want a pillar mount

EDIT: THe guages aren’t mounted solid yet thats why some are kinda further in and what not.

9 grand Tach

EDIT: Oh look at the second to last pic. you can see my shfitlight behind the far left vent…

very nice job man…i may do the same thing

i refuse to not drive with a deck and eq, so i cut out the ash tray and cig lighter to mount a triple gauge plate. theyre plain black and angled straight. checking them really takes a chunk of your focus off the road. definitely gonna have to have the essential ones up high when tuning…
many possibilities though. i was thinking of copying that oem wrx triple gauge pod that goes on top in the middle of the dash out of fiber.

Well my A-Pilalr already ahs my Boost Guage, Wideband A/f Guage, and Oil Pressure Guage. I pt the EGT/oil temp ones down there so I would ahve a general idea that all my temperature ones were down there.

I have my oil pressure guage down there as well. Just put your stereo in the glove box.

very nice setup- i couldn’t fit any gauges in my stereo pod b/c the cd player was too big, but VERY NICE.

any more pics from behind or inside? id love to see that mounted

yeah My deck will be going in the glovebox. I ahve my cd changer in there right now from my previous setup but i’ll move that somewhere else. And I may test fit it in today but not sure if it’s worth taking pictures cause the interior itself is 75% stripped right now cause i’m rewirring a rats nest. Ha

I got the bulk of it installed and wired up. EVerything is pretty much done except for wirring the cd deck etc but I might put that off till later on. Tha angle is nice. but stupid me. I put the gauges in the center console int his order:

Oil temp, Volt gauge, and EGT. what I should ahve done was Volt/Oil temp/EGT. why? cause the damn steering wheel blocks almsto the entire first guage from where I sit. If one were to sit further back they’d see it all btu I’m a short guy so my legs are not very long haha. oh welll…

I’ll take some pics later today if I remember

Updated with new pics

where did you get the white faced gauges? I have the JDM XSI gauges and it’s hard as hell to find any type of gauges for them. I am going to put my speedometer back in so I’ll know how fast I’m going since seeing how the DSM version goes to 140mph and keep the tach that runs to 9 grand

At the moment, and prolly never will be. there is no white faced or any kind of aftermarket guages for the JDM cluster at the moment. if you look at mines and compare miens to yours. yours goes to 9.5G. miens only 9G. cause my cluster from a 92-93 GSR and stumbled upon indiglo guages for them as rare as they are…

damn your lucky!!!

Hehe yep I’d say so myself… if you just wanted white faced guages. you could always make your own printed on phot paper. my friend did that and coame out real good cause it loosk nice with the gloss hehe

id definately switch the EGT and the a/f guage. you really dont need to see your A/F (and it is so dam in accurate) but your EGTs are as if not more important than your oil pressure. just my 2cents.

but looks great! keep up the good work. whats the setup? engine shots?

I’m building a 2 Litre GSR bottom end with ITR head right now.

Bensen sleeves
84 MM CP pistons 9:1
Eagle Rods
blance and micropolish crank
blueprint assembly
all new seals and gaskets for the block and bearings
new water and oil pump
the head will generally be stock as it is already a good head as is(01 spec new ITR head from honda) Just some adjustable cam gears really and hondata IM gasket

The comperssion will yield about a 8.8 with the ITR head… I have a cometic head gasket that I MIGHT use but it drops it down to 8.6:1! kidna low for me…

I’d have to say his WIDEBAND is a pretty important guage to prominantly display.

EGT’s tell you jack really…your butt dyno will tell you more. I’d rather know that my oil pressure was starting to drop so I could pull over and see what the problem is before I spin a bearing…

I think you have the most important gauges where you already have them. Looks good

thanks! yeah right now it’s the cheapo autoemter narrowband A/F but I’ll eitehr be buying the PLX A/F converter(it changs the dispaly on the A/F guage to actually read as a wideband instead. or buy the PLX wideband guage when i buy the entier wideband system.

I made sure tog et a oil pressure guage to not make the same msitake twice…

im pretty sure the a/f guage from autometer is turd no matter how you wire it up…

the PLX covnerts the signal output to wideband voltages so it’s as accurate as any real wideband A/F guage

But it’s either the covnertr. or the PLX guage

the 3 gauge din plate

where did you get the din plate. I love my stero is there anyother place that is good to put it. Also your tripple gauge pod was that for a 94+ integra. If not where did you get that.

Thanks
