I am new to this ecu tuning and i am learning about chrome. I have realized that its just as good as hondata, only cheaper. i have downloaded the chrome trial version, but i wanna compare it and get familiar with the pro version. Anyone wanna Loan me there pro version for say a case of beer in return
I also havent quite grasped the concept of datalogging and Real Time Programming yet? what exactly are these and how are they useful?
damn he beat me to it, if you think its so much better then hondata, and you dont want to pay 500 as upposed to the 150 i think it cost for crome, the stop trying to screw the people over that are offering such a great deal.
Now so this thread isnt completely worthless, xenocron, if i go to one of the crome dealers in my area, do i still need to register and purchase crome, or is that something that is done where i get it tuned at?
well dint mean to offend anyone, pls accept my apologies, yes I am new to the ecu tuning and i only wanted to play around and get familiar with the chrome pro version…And I dint say that it was better than hondata, i said that it was just as good…this means that what hondata can do, chrome can do it also. Is there anywhere that shows u how to tune with chrome or is it kinda like play around and get used to it? Before I buy it, i guess i will continue to play around with the free version first. How does the pro version differ??
this is what chrome website says that the pro version offers :
“The tuner module gives Crome datalogging and tuning capabilities and is available only with a Crome Pro or Dealer license.”
So what is this datalogging about? what does it do in a nutshell?
What is Real Time Programming in a nutshell also?
And how much more “tuning capabilites” comes with the pro? What can u
tune with the pro that u cant tune with the free? Is it only adding boost
launch limiters?
Is it possible to upload an already modified rom that has boost, with the
free version?
crome pro is NOICE! but AEM is better… :naughty: a local tuner “mtber” uses it all the time. his website is www.phearable.net I just havent forked out the dough for it yet, since it would only be for customers. till then I’ll keep getting pissed off at uberdata. with all them damn interface bugs.
