ya I was wrong…you can’t even make 0psi sitting at a stop. I tried it today. I sat at a stop and reved the motor and it stayed around 18 in. hg. Then I tried setting the parking brake and reved the motor and feathered the clutch, I chickened out as the motor wrenched against the mounts and the clutch began to smoke (I didn’t actually take it that far but you get the idea) and still I never go to 0psi.
The best you can do is have the motor reved to a point that it will make boost when you drop the clutch. But then you’ll have wheel spin problems, so its not something I’d want to do anyway…lag helps in a FWD car…

hahaha Formz knows what I am talking about!!! [/B]
What DSM motor isnt “dying” ?
And I put my old A/C fan on my intercooler. My SMIC is laying down where my battery and air box use to be. I cant fit in where the resonator use to be
you buy any car for $400, with a tranny in cardboard boxes, a turbo that leaks oil without any oil pressure behind it, bend up downpipe (curb), shattered front bumper area, JBWelded radiator, chewed up timing belt, damaged crank pulley, cracked exhaust, busted cat studs, blow rear suspension, bad carrier bearings, both front axles busted, stripped out transfer case, blown idle motor, cracked injector caps, torn intercooler connections, cooked ECU, damaged knock sensor and a blown headgasket, and spend $3000 total to make the car driveable…
it’ll have issues until I pull the motor and rip it apart (this winter)
heheeh
still went 14.2 with the electrical issues and a blown clutch:) hehehe
