cooling plate

any one make a cooling plate, kinda like the password JDM ones.

Anyone wanna explain what this does too?

the way our bumpers are designed, you dont need this, it was made for cars that have an actual grill like on JDM ITRs, EK civics, etc. it keeps the flow of air going to the radiator instead of over it. since our bumpers have a flat plane all the way up to the radiator, no air can escape over the top. no need for this.

exactly:werd:

Simply put, moving air is Stupid. It try’s to go every which way you dont want it to go. these plates just help to dirrect it where you wnat it

^ dont miscount the obvious benefit of these on cars with open grills though. my jaguar saw coolant temps drop nearly 60* with just a shroud along both the top and bottom of the radiator (the bottom shroud was actually the splitter and the radiator just happened to be low enough that i made a small stand-off to border the bottom edge of the radiator so it would be in just the right spot to reach the splitter and used the radiator stand-off as the hinged portion for adjustability of the splitter angle with the small radius arms on the bumper. it was pretty trick, i was proud of that one. i made like 5 of them and sold them as kits. i was about to start on a full underbody tray until the cars untimely demise. sheetmetal ftw though
forget all these upper radiator shrouds, we need lower shrouds that double as splitters
cooling AND some downforce on my front wheels? hells yes.
