crazy or what direct port dry zex kit on b20v

what u guys think about that idea?? should i do it?? 55 shot on my b20v ok but i need more i could go to a bigger jet but the idea of direct port sounds good. i think my motor should handle 55 shot direct port no problem.

i have upgraded to a racing fuel pump zex inline pump 390cc injectors 2 degrees colder plugs. cam gears set a ex -2 and intake +3 . ecu is a p61 uberdata set up. i run 15 flat in the 1/4 seems slow to me. hit me up should i do it.

i didnt know they made direct port dry setups…intresting, although i would have to argue that dry setups are not as safe nor reliable as a wet setup, i would save ur money and shoot for a wet setup, i think the difference in price between the 2 kits outweighs the price of a new motor just my .02 and oh yeah definitely do it nitrous all the way, i used a Nitrous Express direct port NXL system with a 75 shot on my EK with the LS/VTEC and was goin 12.80’s all day long on a slick the powerband with that stuff is sick, you will be able to eat turbo cars up off the line all day long, and the top end to if you eventually decide to build ur B20 with a VTEC head.

yeah i already have a zex dry kit to do direct port on a dry seems easy with just a few parts to add like a divider block and nozzles equal length lines thats it. i have a ported and polished vtec head on my b20 all motor runs were 15.4 but i broke an axle on the line seems odd but it happens. with a 55 shot dry got me down the track at 15 flat slow to me but i’m going to try direct port dry with extra care not to blow up my motor. i will post you guys on the progress.

somethings very wrong there, a B20 with a built VTEC head should be somewhere in the mid 14’s to low 14’s, my EK with an LS/VTEC w/ GSR rods and 10.5:1 pistons, built valvetrain, and cams with a 75 shot direct, was running 12.8’s on slicks, i was shifting at 8800rpm too, what are you shifting at? really though you should be going MUCH faster than 15’s with all of that, my bone stock integra used to run 15.6’s somethings wrong.

man i know something is wrong shifting at 8000 rpms maybe the ecu tuning needs some work new with uberdata.

spend a couple hundred bucks for a few hours on the dyno and have a shop fully tune that thing for you because even if it was a simple b20-vtec build, you should have cracked the high 14’s. with a 55 shot of nitrous, you should have hit low 14’s and with good driving possibly broke into the 13’s. i ran a 14.9 at 100mph on a STOCK motor with just a Short Ram Intake, ITR header (stock jdm type-r i should clarify), an axle back exhaust, and a performance chip. shifting at 7000. the 14.9 was also accomplished on slicks. the rest of my runs were low 15’s (on street tires) going back to the track this spring since i’ve done a little bit of weight reduction and done a few SMALL performance mods.

first off, if you have a larger fuel pump, you have no use for the inline fuel pump. they are for people running stock pumps.
i wouldn’t try making a dry kit into a direct port kit unless you are super confident with your fuel jetting(you cant use normal dry jetting), and have a wideband to monitor the a/f ratio. normally when people run dry direct port setups they let a standalone ecu control the fuel. 55 shot is the lowest jets zex gives you with the kit. when i bought mine they gave me 55, 65, and 75 shot with the kit. anything over 75 shot you should really be using a wet kit.
i have a dry zex kit on my beater jetted at a 75 shot with no problems. it is a 94 integra sedan with comptech icebox and test pipe.

all this info is great just got a t25 from a 300zxTT for free good turbo a bro of mine upgraded to a t28 so i took his old one. should use it or sell it?? oh should i still keep the inline fuel pump now that i going to be boosting??

that turbo will be a pain in the ass to find a turbo manifold for. i would sell it and pickup a turbo kit off honda tech, people are always selling them dirt cheap.

honestly man a t-25 isnt a bad turbo at all, do you still have the internal wastegate for it? if so HKS makes a manifold thats not too expensive i think $275 but it is for internally wastegated turbos only, also you could piece together your kit for somewhere around $1200 with good parts too, check honda-tech they have turbo shit for sale all day long for cheap and that should work well t-25’s spool nice on any honda

Turbo > Nitro

wtf is nitro? is that the blue fuel you put in rc cars?
im turbo nitrous…does that make me greater than myself?
