What shade of orange are they?
heres one set that i use. and since it is a three part color i can make adjustments to make them from a bronze to amber to the red ones like in this thread and just about everywhere in between.
And you said you wanted $12 total for a set? Do those fit all years of G2s? Or is it different from the 90-91 to the 92-93?
i said buyer pays all shipping which is around 6 bucks each way. so the buyer will be spending about 12 dollars for the shipping +the price of my time and materials to do the lights. prices will vary depending on the condition of the lights that are send to me. obvioulsy the better condition the less preping i have to do. the shittier the lights the more prepwork. and yes the lights are different from 91-92.

No reason to freak out on people, maybe some people WOULD only charge that, you said you had already done 6 sets, I thought that was what you meant - you were selling ones you had already done! for the amount of time and effort i put into doing thee kinds of things for people i does not matter to me if i do them or not. i was only offering my services because doing it this way takes time and money. of which most of the people on here do not have. they go out and buy cheap yellow or orange paint and it does’nt turn out like these. ever since this thread has surfaced alot of members wanted them but do not have the skill to do them as described. you can buy the cheap ass ebay one’s and then pay 24.00 for shipping or whatever it was. or waste you’re time trying 9 different ways of painting them by following directions from people on here who have never done them or give out false information as to what kinds of paints work or how to apply the coats. seems everyone wants go try something else then post up shitty pics of shitty lights. when all they had to do in the first place was follow directions or use the ball between thier shoulders and figure it out for themselves. it is not a quick n easy thing to hand finish lights like this. it takes time and patience, of which i have plenty. sorry if you think im an asshat. i was merely offering my services for something alot of people on here are asking for. :salute:

maybe its only me but this statement seems very…oh i dont know.
i would guess the confusing thing about the post would be the fact that, YOU DIDNT NAME A PRICE. the only monetary value you stated was the shipping which was $12. are people supposed to automatically know what you want for them?
I myself are proud of how my lights turned out.
well anyways i guess it might be confusing for people then. sorry if i came off like a noob. it has been a long couple of weeks for me and i guess i got a lil sketchy and took it out here.

Hmm, well I might jump on this then…mine did turn out yellow, but then again I ran out of paint, so I might try to fix them first but if not I’ll hit up the junkyard and talk to you about painting those :shrug:
speeddaddy, thanks for pointing it out. this is one of the reasons why i didn’t use the orange bottle. having yellow and red gives you the option to make the lights more amber or yellow.
what clear coat did you use? and did you cut and buff? it looks a little rough…or it just might be the camera flash.
***to everyone, cutting and buffing is the secret to making it look OEM.
anirtak- these are still raw finish thats why they are a lil rough. i have never got into the cutters and stuff like that. just a lot of wetsanding and rubbing compound. wetsanding and rubbing. etc… seems to work good for me. just never bothered to really finish up those sets of lights cause some other project would spark my interest.
yea i tried to cut and buff mine the first time and the edges kept going clear. like the paint didnt want to sand level and it took so much sanding i dsanded right through the paint. so i even’d them up as best i could and cleared them, and the clear spiderwebbed. must have been old clear. so i got pissed bought new clears, tamiya orange spray and auto clear. painted, cleared, sanded a little, used turtle wax red, then white and the tiny scratch marks refused to come out, barely noticeable tho. so i waxed them with Eagle One Nano Wax and said “fuck it”. your lights do look killer and i prolly would have paid you to do them if i didnt waste so much damn money on lights already.

no problem. they are not an easy thing to find. ONLY Hobby shops carry them. Micheles(sp?) does not carry them. That sucks. lol
